00:00 Reporter 2: Hey, Caleb, ask RJ the same question.
00:04 What's been the biggest challenge for you
00:06 in trying to learn the point guard position
00:08 in Roy Williams' offense?
00:10 Just taking better shots in the offense.
00:14 Then also just the pace of the game,
00:17 just knowing time and situations,
00:19 when they get the big guys, get them some touches.
00:24 So I think that's the biggest thing,
00:26 just learning better,
00:27 learning how to be a real point guard
00:29 and control this team because the team goes
00:32 as the point guard goes.
00:34 Reporter 2: Have you been surprised
00:35 how much Roy wants you to push the tempo?
00:38 No, not at all because I've been here for a long time now.
00:43 So I just-- I think just me playing out there
00:48 this first game, I think I got a better feel
00:50 of how the games are going to go.
00:52 So I'll get better at that as we play.
00:56 Reporter 2: Thank you.
00:57 Kiera.
01:01 Hey, Caleb, just talk about your first experience
01:04 as a college player now.
01:06 I felt good, you know, just growing up,
01:08 you dream to be up and those--
01:10 you watching those games, you dream to be here.
01:13 So just me being here, just felt good playing out there,
01:17 having this jersey on and then playing for Coach Williams.
01:21 It's just a great experience overall.
01:24 Thank you.
01:26 D.L.
01:28 Hey, Caleb, what areas would you say that you and RJ
01:31 already have kind of a good rapport
01:34 going together on the court?
01:36 And what areas do you say you still kind of need
01:39 to figure out with RJ?
01:41 I think areas we have to get better at
01:43 is just more chemistry and then getting back on defense
01:48 because Coach wanted us to get--
01:49 point guard get back on defense.
01:50 So we have to-- and when both of us are in there,
01:53 we got to pick and choose whoever's the point guard,
01:55 who got to get back.
01:56 And then what we got in common and what's better for us
02:02 that I think we already have is just us as a backcourt.
02:07 I think we're so lethal.
02:09 I don't think anybody can really guard us in a transition.
02:13 And yeah.
02:15 Thanks.
02:16 Brandon Marks.
02:21 You're in the picture.
02:23 Hey, Caleb, congratulations on the start
02:25 and getting your first college win.
02:27 I'm just curious, you mentioned having to learn the pace
02:30 and getting familiar with that and comfortable with it
02:32 in Coach Williams' system.
02:33 How natural has being that leader and being that lead
02:37 guard been for you, especially knowing that you and Caleb do--
02:41 or you and RJ have the potential to sort of slide
02:44 between positions in the backcourt?
02:46 It's been better just because Coach is the hardest on me,
02:51 I think, in my opinion about my pace.
02:54 And then just in practice, he's always preaching that I've
02:58 got to push the ball and get the ball up.
03:01 So I think, like I said, I know how the games are going to go
03:05 now, so I'm going to be better in the Maui invitation.
03:09 Thank you.
03:11 All right, Mark Armstrong, last one for Caleb here.
03:14 And then--
03:16 OK, Caleb, I think everybody was relieved to see you back
03:20 on the court.
03:21 Kind of from your perspective, what
03:23 was it like to flip over the back of that other guy?
03:25 And has that ever happened to you in a game situation before?
03:29 No, it never happened before.
03:31 It was crazy.
03:32 When I jumped because I thought he was going to shoot the ball,
03:35 and when I was in the air, I thought
03:36 I was going to fall on my head.
03:38 So it was a real scary situation,
03:39 but I'm just glad that it wasn't too much damage.
