00:03 I told them when it was the TV timeout that I didn't get us in a problem, they did.
00:07 And they came out, tried to double our post, and we threw it out and
00:11 shot the ball on the first pass out, and none of them went in.
00:14 And we also didn't do a very good job of guarding, and
00:17 Bryce got off to a much better start than we wanted him to.
00:22 But I felt okay about the score.
00:24 I told them at the first time out, I wasn't worried about the score,
00:26 I was just worried about how we were playing.
00:29 And then I think the two guys that are here to talk to you, Armando and
00:33 Andrew, were very efficient.
00:35 Armando was fourth, four, and Andrew was fourth for six.
00:38 And we gotta get everybody to have that kind of feeling of being efficient with
00:42 the ball, not just getting a number of shots up.
00:45 And so after the first six minutes or so, I thought we did some good things and
00:51 got better, and I hope and think we learned a lot from tonight.
00:54 >> Well, I hope so, and I think you should.
00:56 I congratulated them during the time out.
00:59 I congratulated them at halftime, and I congratulated them again after the game.
01:03 So I'm hoping that that will be something that'll help them,
01:06 there's no question.
01:07 But we've gotta play better.
01:10 I mean, you can't spot a lot of people 13 and think you're gonna come back and win.
01:14 So we gotta play better during that time.
01:16 >> You're concerned about his conditioning more than anything.
01:20 And I think with each and every day of practice and each and
01:24 every game, he'll help that a little bit.
01:26 But he is really long, guys, and he can bother shots inside and
01:29 get his hands on some offensive rebounds that other guys can't get.
01:33 And then you saw him dive on the floor like that tonight, that kind of effort is
01:36 only gonna get him a heck of a lot more play and time.
01:39 But I'm comfortable with all those guys.
01:42 It was tougher on Dayron and Armando probably with all the double team they're
01:47 doing, cuz Dayron is gonna be a fantastic player.
01:50 He's gonna be a fantastic player this year, and I hope even this week.
01:54 But that was something that was new for them.
01:58 It's only the second game we played, and so
02:00 it was something that bothered them more than it usually bothers our teams.

02:08 But it is, you've gotta have the confidence, but you gotta take good shots.
02:11 Just because they double team you, you throw it out and you shoot it immediately.
02:14 That's what their coach wants to do.

02:18 And so we've got to understand that part.
02:21 I think RJ's a good shooter.
02:22 I think Caleb's a good shooter.
02:24 Andrew made some tonight.
02:25 I believe it's somebody, Kerwin, I think is a good shooter.
02:29 He made one for us in the first half.
02:31 But those guys have gotta take good shots, and I think they'll go in.
02:35 I think we're gonna shoot it better this year than we did last year for sure.
02:38 But we haven't done it the first two games, though.
