00:00Hello there, it should brighten up for many western and northern areas through the rest
00:04of the day, but if you're in the south and east it's going to stay quite cloudy throughout
00:08this afternoon. That's because we've got a weather front bringing a little bit of drizzly
00:11rain to the likes of Suffolk, possibly into Kent later on today. You could also see some
00:15rain across parts of Devon as well, but elsewhere it should stay dry through this afternoon
00:21and the best of the sunshine will once again be across western and northern areas of Scotland.
00:26Northern Ireland will see a great deal of sunshine as well, as well as western areas
00:29of Wales, and in the shouted sunshine it's not going to feel too bad at all. Similar
00:33to yesterday, highs of 14 or 15 degrees across parts of south Wales. Also could see temperatures
00:38as high as 15 in the central belt as well. There's quite a difference though if you're
00:43on the east coast, we've still got this northerly wind bringing that chillier feel to coastal
00:47areas and there's quite a bit more cloud across the east as well. So there will be a difference
00:51from east to west through the rest of the week in fact as well, and that northerly wind
00:55going to continue to drag cloud across eastern coast through this evening. We could see the
00:59odd shower as well across eastern areas of England, perhaps southeastern Scotland throughout
01:05the night. But most areas should remain dry. That rain will clear away to the south and
01:10east and so we'll see plenty of clear skies developing. I think the clearest skies will
01:14be across north western areas once again and here is where it could turn quite cold overnight.
01:18We could see lows of around minus four in some Scottish glens, but there's a risk of
01:22a patchy frost for many western and northern areas of the UK by tomorrow morning. So chilly
01:29start wherever you are and there has been quite a chilly feel continuing through this
01:34week. These are the temperatures for tomorrow morning compared to average for this time
01:38of year, to the April average. You can see it's particularly where we see those clear
01:41skies parts of Scotland where temperatures are some six degrees below the average minimum
01:46temperature for this time of year. So if you have been feeling chilly in the mornings,
01:50there is reason for that as it's not particularly typical for this time of year. So chilly feels
01:55going to continue through the east through Wednesday with that northerly wind continuing
01:59to bring a risk of showers. There should be fairly light and limited, but there'll be
02:02more cloud across the east compared to the west. But even across the southeast where
02:06there's been quite a lot of cloud through today, it will be a brighter day on Wednesday
02:10and in the west across many areas of Wales, southwest England, northern Ireland, west
02:15and much of Scotland. It should be a very dry and bright day and in the sheltered sunshine
02:19once again, it's going to feel fairly pleasant. Highs of 14 degrees, not quite as warm as
02:24today because it will be a bit of a colder start, but pleasant enough. Certainly not
02:28too bad for this time of year, but in the east you'll be quite disappointed by those
02:31temperatures once again with that chilly wind. Now we've got an area of high pressure moving
02:36into northwestern areas throughout Wednesday night. You can see the clear skies developing
02:40because of that and that will allow temperatures to really drop away more widely through Wednesday
02:46night. So it's likely to be another quite cold start to Thursday with another risk of
02:50some patchy frost, but it does look like by the weekend it could start to warm up a little.
