00:00My question is on two topics, Karine.
00:01First, on abortion, Vice President Harris
00:03is going to Arizona tomorrow
00:05to talk about the need for abortion access in the state.
00:08I know the President's own views on this topic
00:10have been evolving over the recent decades.
00:13Should we expect him to be talking in public
00:16about this issue?
00:18So, I want to be super-mindful.
00:20Like, tomorrow's event is a campaign event,
00:22so I'm going to let the campaign speak
00:25to the Vice President's engagement.
00:26Is tomorrow's event a campaign event?
00:27I thought it became official.
00:29From what I understand, it's a campaign event.
00:30So, I would refer you to her team, at least.
00:33But from my understanding, it's a campaign event.
00:35So, I'll leave that there.
00:37But, you know, the President spoke to this.
00:40He shouted a question about what occurred in Arizona,
00:45how devastating and how wrong the decision
00:47to go back to 1864 to make it more difficult for women,
00:53millions of women.
00:54And, you know, he talked about that,
00:57so I certainly will refer you to his comments.
01:00The President has consistently been very clear
01:03about where he stands. He stands for women's rights.
01:05He stands for women to be able to make decisions
01:07about their bodies, right?
01:08He stands for reproductive freedom.
01:10He put a statement out right after Arizona
01:13made their decision.
01:15So, he's been very, you know, very steadfast and out front.
01:19On this, you're going to hear from the Vice President,
01:21so you'll hear directly from her.
01:22We've been really clear.
01:24And all of this, what we're seeing right now in states,
01:27we have 21 states that have extreme bans,
01:3021 states across the country.
01:32And a lot of-and that has been caused by the chaos
01:35that we have seen from the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
01:38And that's because, obviously, of the Dobbs decision.
01:40It was a-it was a constitutional right for almost 50 years,
01:44and that has been taken away from women.
01:46And so, it's caused chaos,
01:48and we're going to continue to call that out.
01:49We should be fighting for women's rights,
01:51women's freedom, Americans' freedom.
01:53And that's not what-that's not where Republicans are.
01:56I know other-
