00:00What's more, Trump's advisors have created a 900-page blueprint they're calling Project 2025, detailing everything else they plan to do in a second term, including a plan to cut Social Security, to repeal our $35 cap on insulin,
00:28to eliminate the Department of Education, and end programs like Head Start.
00:37And Project 2025 outlines a plan to limit access to contraception, and for a nationwide abortion ban, with or without an act of Congress.
00:55If implemented, this plan would be the latest attack in Donald Trump's full-on assault on reproductive freedom.
01:10And remember, then-President Donald Trump handpicked three members of the United States Supreme Court because he intended for them to undo the protections of Roe v. Wade, and as he intended, they did.
01:29Now, over 20 states have the Trump abortion ban, many with no acceptance even for rape and incest.
01:39And Trump has not denied, much less shown remorse, for his actions.
01:46Instead, he proudly uses the word proudly. He takes credit for overturning Roe.
01:52So make no mistake, if Trump gets the chance, he will sign the national abortion ban to outlaw abortion in every single state.
02:02But we are not going to let that happen.
02:07We are not going to let that happen, because we trust women.
02:16We know women know what's in their own best interest and don't need their government telling them what to do with their body.
02:24And when Congress passes a law that restores the reproductive freedoms of Roe, our President Joe Biden will sign it into law.
02:40So ultimately, in this election, we each face a question.
02:49What kind of country do we want to live in?
02:53A country of freedom, compassion, and rule of law?
02:59Or a country of chaos, fear, and hate?
03:06And here's the thing, and I say this to a group of people who already know this, we each have the power.
03:16We have the power to answer this question.
03:21So if the Supreme Court says the laws do not apply to Donald Trump,
03:26if people like Mike Pence are not around to stand up to him,
03:31and if extremists in Congress continue to bow down to him,
03:36our last defense, our last line of defense, is the ballot box.
03:43Our vote. Our vote.
03:48In 2020 and 2022, it was the leaders in this room and in this community who showed the power of your voice and your vote.
04:03And in 2024, we need you to do it again.
04:09So today I ask, Nevada, are you ready to make your voice heard?
04:16Do we believe in freedom? Do we believe in opportunity?
04:23Do we believe in the promise of America?
04:27And are we ready to fight for it?
04:31And when we fight, we win.
