A Bristol library that’s still at the heart of the local community will celebrate its 90th birthday this week with a special event. Sea Mills Library in Sylvan Way will host a celebration party on Saturday (April 13) from 10am to 3pm.

00:24library with volunteers from the Friends of Seamills Library. The Children's Lego Club
00:30will be held from 10.30am, a poetry workshop, a creative memory mapping with Bristol City
00:36Poet Cat Lyons and reading aloud for adults with Jean. Music will also be performed by
00:43Colin Smith. Ahead of the event they have set up a Decorator Cake activity where visitors
00:49can paint and decorate cake illustrations to be displayed on the library walls for
00:55the 90th birthday celebrations.
