A sneak peek into the premium rooms of Glasgow’s Dakota Hotel

Ever wanted to see the inside of some of Glasgow’s most expensive hotel rooms? Here’s a look into the Dakota.

00:00 So this is one of our signature suites. We have 10 suites in total.

00:06 Five are similar to this, which are the ones based on the corner of the building.

00:10 So we've got the floor to ceiling windows, super king size bed,

00:16 and the most prominent feature of one of these rooms is our row top baths.

00:23 A lot of light comes into these rooms, so it's preferential for makeup,

00:27 and it's got the extra floor space for bridal parties to get ready as well.

00:34 So these are favourable rooms, hugely popular, but very commuted tones,

00:41 quite relaxing, and just comfy, luxurious, soft furnishings, textures, materials,

00:51 all these nice bits all added in to make it feel comfortable.

00:55 So this is our Grand Deluxe suite. So it's the biggest suite that we offer in the hotel.

01:03 It can be set up as a one bedroom, but you can have it set up as two,

01:09 where you get an adjoining room next door.

01:12 So both these rooms have baths in them, lounging.

01:17 This one's got the nice kind of lounging area with the mirror TV set into the wall.

01:21 Small dining area. You've got your kind of tea and coffee making facilities.

01:27 So if you're staying in this room, you'd always be welcomed with some champagne to start off your stay.

01:33 And then again, your super king bed, nice soft furnishings, floor to ceiling windows,

01:41 and then the bathroom with the nice row top.

01:48 Plenty of space in here. So heated floors, row top bath, nice big kind of double shower with the rainfall head on it.
