00:00 Basically the boat came to us in relatively poor condition and completely painted.
00:07 So it had been painted inside and out.
00:10 Obviously we had to wash it, it had been under a house for about 30 years.
00:15 And then we had to commence stripping all the paint.
00:20 This has been replaced with plywood.
00:22 There was a big plywood patch all along here.
00:25 So we had to take all that out and patch the cedar back in.
00:30 And we thought it would be a bit of a challenge.
00:32 Certainly the biggest thing we've ever taken on.
00:34 And it's also a good little source of income for the shed.
00:39 And so yeah, we decided we'd take it on.
00:43 Probably didn't quite know how much we were biting off, but we've done it.
00:48 And yeah, we're very pleased with the outcome.
00:51 I think it's a fantastic project for this Men's Sheds and also for Men's Sheds in general.
00:58 Because it shows Men's Sheds aren't just about making chopping boards and woodturning.
01:04 We can actually have a great depth of skills all within the Men's Shed movement in Tasmania and Australia wide.
