00:00 Former Congressman Arnie Tevez was arrested in Timor-Leste.
00:05 His lawyer said that they will apply for political asylum.

00:17 The National Bureau of Investigation team that went to Timor-Leste has returned to the Philippines.
00:26 But they are not with the former Negros Oriental representative Arnulfo Arnie Tevez Jr.
00:32 who was arrested last Thursday while playing in the golf range in Dili, the capital of Timor-Leste.
00:39 Tevez is accused of killing Negros Oriental Governor Ruel De Gamo and other members of the Pamplona in March 2023.
00:48 Tevez was also charged with three murder cases in 2019.
00:53 All of these were denied by the former congressman.
00:57 They have a process in Timor-Leste.

02:25 The NBI said that Horta was the one who was able to get Tevez out of Timor-Leste.
