00:33 According to the MMDA, the number of accidents on the streets of Metro Manila has increased to almost 72,000 after the lockdowns of the pandemic.

00:44 Over 23,000 people were involved in the accident, with more than 400 deaths, most of them from drivers.

00:53 Some cases in the province are not included in this data, including a 4-year-old boy who was hit by a 20-year-old bullet after a motorcycle hit him in San Jacinto, Pangasinan.

01:05 Two people were also killed in a motorcycle and truck crash in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

01:12 According to a group of road safety advocates, there is still a need for improvement in the implementation of the traffic laws in the country.
