00:00 So on the votes, Candace O'Clarr, it doesn't look like Labor will get more than two seats in each electorate.
00:06 Do you accept that would be a terrible result for the party?
00:10 I think it's still early days and Herr Clark is a funny old beast.
00:15 And we've got some time and I think Tasmanians are going to need a bit of patience to see how things pan out over time.
00:21 As I said, it's early days and I'm still hopeful that we might get three in Braddon.
00:25 We've had some fantastic candidates across Braddon that are well connected to their communities,
00:30 speaking to Tasmanians about what's important to them and I've really enjoyed the opportunity to work with each and every one of them.
00:36 Why has Labor failed to perform better against this government, given everything you say about how bad they've done?
00:43 I think after ten years of this Liberal government, it's pretty evident that they have the inability to fix the health system,
00:50 to fix the housing crisis across Tasmania or to really make any dent or difference to Tasmanians
00:56 and the pressures that they're facing when it comes to cost of living.
00:59 We've certainly campaigned very hard. We've had strong policies across health, housing and the cost of living
01:05 and I think they were better policies than the Liberals. Absolutely.
01:08 And we're committed to keep working across our communities to make sure that our policies resonate with people.
01:15 Could Labor still look to do deals with the cross branch to form government or do you think this is a breach?
01:22 What I think is that it's early days and there's still a lot of counting to do, even here in Braddon.
01:26 We've got a number of the larger booths still to be counted.
01:29 So it's going to be a little while before we know the make up of the next Tasmanian Parliament.
01:34 But what's important, I think, for Tasmania is that we have a government that is stable,
01:39 that works cooperative and collaboratively across the Parliament.
01:42 Under Jeremy Rockleaf, over the last three years, we've had instability across the Tasmanian Parliament,
01:49 whether that be under Peter Guttman or Jeremy Rockleaf.
01:52 We've lost Minister after Minister.
01:55 And I think people turning away from the Liberals today shows that.
01:59 If Ms Wright does resign as Leader, will you be willing to put your hand up?
02:04 As I said, I've really enjoyed the opportunity to be Deputy Leader of a party that I love,
02:09 with a wonderful membership right across the state.
02:12 I've really enjoyed that role and I've worked really hard in it.
02:15 I think it's early days and we don't know what the make up of the Tasmanian Parliament is going to be.
02:20 Rebecca White's done a tremendous job as Leader and polling shows that she's very popular.
02:24 And I've enjoyed tremendously being her Deputy.
02:27 Thank you so much.
