00:00 So, you got here in January. What's it been like so far?
00:03 It's been great. The transition has been smooth. I've been getting to know the guys real well.
00:07 It's a real welcoming place. I'm excited to get to play for this program.
00:11 How's your relationship with Emmett Jones been? I know that obviously he recruited you.
00:15 Now that he's your coach, what's it like?
00:17 It's great. I've known Coach Jones for a long time. Since back when he was at Texas Tech,
00:21 I went to camp there and got the offer. We kind of stayed in touch until here.
00:25 I came to camp here and I just love him. He's a very intense guy, very intense coach.
00:30 Very inspirational and I'm excited to get to learn from him this season and going forward.
00:34 What about the receiver room? Have any of the older guys in that room taken you under their wing?
00:39 I've been learning from a bunch of the guys like Jahliel and Gavin Freeman.
00:44 Drake Stoops a little bit since he's around the facility still.
00:48 It's just been great. I'm trying to get bits and pieces from all of them.
00:52 I'm trying to soak up as much information as I can from those guys.
00:55 We've seen the build from high school, but from your perspective, what do you think you provide to Oklahoma's offense?
01:02 I think I provide a very versatile, not only just on offense but on special teams too.
01:09 Great route runner, creates separation at the top of the route and very reliable.
01:16 I think my hands are a really big part of my game. I'm very reliable.
01:21 What about the other freshmen that have come in with you?
01:24 I know guys like Ivan and Zion. How's your relationship been with them?
01:28 It's been great. We've been pushing each other every workout.
01:31 I love those guys. I think we're going to have a lot of fun here.
01:35 Are you excited to get started in spring ball?
01:37 Oh yeah, yes sir.
01:39 What about Coach Bennebols? Now that he's your head coach, he's not just recruiting you. How is that?
01:44 It's great. I think he's a great example for all of us.
01:48 He leads by example. He sets a standard every day by his actions.
01:52 I'm really, really blessed to be going here under him.
01:58 What about the weight training program? Coach Smith, obviously those outside the program, they hear a lot of rumors how it's tough.
02:04 What's your perspective on that so far?
02:06 Yeah, the rumors are true. It's very tough.
02:09 I think that's a big part of what has made Oklahoma so good for so long.
02:14 Smitty does an unbelievable job and I'm so glad that I'm here.
02:20 I get to go through his program. It's been making me better, I can tell.
02:25 What's the toughest thing you've had to do so far?
02:27 I'd say the fourth quarter. We do fourth quarter drills on Tuesday and Friday.
02:32 That's basically coaching stations. They just tire us out, see what we're made of.
02:37 That's been real tough, but I'm glad we're doing it.
