00:00 If you go to the description of this show,
00:02 and that's whether it's on YouTube
00:03 or whether you're watching it on one of your podcasts
00:05 or somewhere else, just in the description,
00:07 there's a link to the Grove Collective's campaign
00:10 for March to Victory.
00:11 March to Victory is the newest thing
00:15 that Walker Jones and the people at the Grove Collective
00:17 have put together, and it's a bracket-style challenge
00:21 for donations over the course of March.
00:26 I think March 18th-ish is the deadline
00:29 for your first-ever donation
00:31 as far as a bracket-style victory.
00:34 The whole point of this was to create regions
00:39 to compete against each other in donating
00:41 and while Ole Miss is trying to raise money as well.
00:44 And they have stuff on there
00:45 where you can be in Florida
00:47 or North Texas and South Texas won.
00:49 I think Mississippi is divided up into three regions.
00:53 The West Coast is all by itself.
00:55 The Midwest is all by itself,
00:57 but it's very specific in where Ole Miss fans live.
01:02 And the whole goal is to raise $10 million
01:05 in the month of March
01:08 and or 10,000 members in the Grove Collective as well.
01:13 This is a pretty big deal,
01:16 and I'm putting this up there for a reason.
01:20 I'm advertising it for a reason.
01:23 This campaign is not for this recruiting class, okay?
01:27 This recruiting class is spoken for.
01:32 This recruiting class is kind of where it needs to be.
01:36 But if we do what we want to do in football this fall
01:41 to where we're competing for playoff spots,
01:45 we're doing things like that,
01:46 the players that are being recruited last night,
01:49 the Deuce Knights, the Caleb Cunningham,
01:52 consensus five-star player,
01:54 the Akilon Dears,
01:56 players like that,
02:00 players in the transfer portal,
02:01 the next Walter Nolan,
02:03 the next Princely Iman Mielen,
02:05 the next Juice Wells,
02:08 the next Jackson Dart.
02:11 For Ole Miss to recruit those guys,
02:16 they need to have capital to get that done.
02:18 So Ole Miss, this campaign is raising money
02:22 for the 2025 class and beyond.
02:25 If Ole Miss can go towards a championship,
02:29 specifically a national championship in 2024,
02:34 for us to withstand what is going to go on,
02:38 Ole Miss isn't Texas.
02:39 They're not Texas A&M.
02:40 They're not Georgia.
02:42 They're not these other giant-type schools
02:46 that can just open up their wallet all the time.
02:49 Now, they're better off than Mississippi State.
02:50 They're better off than Vanderbilt.
02:52 They're better off than Florida,
02:53 if we're going to be completely honest.
02:55 But they're, as Walker Jones said,
02:59 they are small, but they're mighty.
03:01 And right now, Ole Miss is punching above their weight,
03:03 and it helps that they have somebody like Walker Jones.
