The Philippines set a Guinness World Record for the most number of pork dishes on display and served during the opening ceremonies of the 2024 Hog Festival at the Araneta Center in Quezon City on Friday, March 1, 2024. The National Federation of Hog Farmers Inc. spearheaded the attempt with the support of (not in photo) Sen. Cynthia Villar, Quezon City Mayor Josefina 'Joy' Belmonte, and Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. Guinness set the record to beat at 300.
