00:00 Hi Allure, I'm Isabella Merced and I'm here to do my 10 minute beauty routine.
00:04 The first product that I'm going to use is the Luminous Silk Perfect Low Flawless Foundation
00:11 by Giorgio Armani.
00:13 A lot of my routine changes a lot, but this is the one product that stays consistent.
00:20 For years now it's been a classic.
00:23 Just like a good movie, like Moulin Rouge.
00:26 It's the Moulin Rouge of makeup.
00:28 I really love the coverage of this.
00:31 For younger women especially, we don't want anything too heavy.
00:35 And especially for this glam, I want it to be neutral, glowy.
00:40 And sometimes when you use too much product, it takes away the shine, the natural shine
00:44 of your skin.
00:45 It's sheer a little bit, but it's also good coverage for the redness on my skin because
00:49 I've been breaking out lately.
00:51 But not in an overt way, it's just kind of in the underneath pimples.
00:55 So when I'm doing certain areas of my face, I'm like, "Ow."
00:58 So the next product, I'm actually going to use two shades of the same product because
01:02 I'm going for a certain brilliance and brightness under my eyes, and then I'm going for a sort
01:06 of skin matching coverage for the rest of my face.
01:09 So we got shade number six in the Luminous Silk Concealer, and then we got shade number
01:15 four in the Luminous Silk Concealer.
01:18 I'm just doing this for fun.
01:19 I don't even know if it's working, but I just remember watching beauty tutorials growing
01:22 up and they always did that.
01:24 So we got number six.
01:25 I'm going to cover up any blemishes.
01:28 I'm going in here.
01:29 Ow.
01:30 There.
01:31 Go under there, there, pimple.
01:32 Under eye.
01:33 That is so much fun.
01:34 I'm going to do the other side.
01:35 Good.
01:36 I kind of do a mixture of like blend and dab, and blend and dab.
01:47 Because I learned from the best, my makeup artist, Alan.
01:50 I love him.
01:51 He's been doing my makeup for so long.
01:52 You know those friends you've known for so long, when you think about how long you've
01:55 known them, you feel old.
01:56 I'm 22.
01:57 I feel old when I think about how long I've known Alan.
02:00 So I'm going to use the Silk Bronzing Base by Yensa in Sunset Glow.
02:06 It's a cream contour, so you can kind of control how it looks and how dark it is.
02:10 I'm going to just warm up the edges of my face.
02:15 I sometimes find putting on makeup so relaxing.
02:17 I feel like Bob Ross.
02:18 And I used to love watching Bob Ross before bed.
02:21 When I was filming Sicario in New Mexico, that was actually my secret to relaxing and
02:26 calming down at the end of the day.
02:28 Okay, that pimple just reappeared because I was brushing it.
02:30 I feel like if one day I wake up and I go, "I don't like this anymore."
02:33 I could just quit.
02:34 I hope I could.
02:35 I mean, I'd be out here just probably just going back to college, honestly.
02:39 I studied psychology in college for two years, and that was fun.
02:43 But my acting career took off before, you know, I could get a psychology degree.
02:49 So I just ended up doing that.
02:51 Natalie Portman was my favorite actor.
02:54 She got her master's in psychology at some prestigious school.
02:57 I think it might have been Harvard.
02:59 That was really inspiring to me as a young girl.
03:01 I thought being smart is like currency.
03:04 I still feel that way.
03:05 I think this is probably one of my favorite steps, the blush.
03:08 It's the Giorgio Armani Glow Blush.
03:11 I like to go with more of a purple-y shade.
03:13 Purple kind of brings out the olive skin tones in my skin.
03:16 People just tell me it looks nice.
03:17 I'm doing press today from Adam Witt.
03:19 I did one day already with Sydney.
03:22 Sydney freaking Sweeney and Celeste O'Connor.
03:26 They are just the loveliest girls.
03:29 I don't really like press.
03:30 It stresses me out, and my cheeks start hurting from smiling all day, because you kind of
03:35 just have to be like, "Hi."
03:37 The reasons I do like it, the girls, the looks.
03:41 I get to wear the nicest outfits and take some pretty pictures, and it's not on my budget.
03:46 And it's just really enjoyable.
03:48 And you know, the press people are nice, actually.
03:51 Okay, is this enough blush?
03:52 I'm going to put some on my nose, actually.
03:54 It's adding a little bit of cuteness.
03:56 I'm going to set this with my favorite smelling spray in the world.
04:01 And I'll just bring it to set, and I'll ask people.
04:03 I sprayed the Showrunner the other day.
04:05 It's Caudelet Eau de Beauté Elixir.
04:07 You shake it up, and you spray it, and I swear, your whole mood shifts.
04:12 It's so lovely.
04:13 That might have been too much.
04:16 I don't care.
04:17 I want to drink it.
04:18 In order to play into the glowiness of this look, I'm going to use a sheer spotlight liquid
04:23 highlighter, but I'm going to put it on my eyes.
04:25 So I'm just going to dab it on.
04:27 It's very light.
04:28 I don't like when it's like, you can see the individual sparkles.
04:31 I like when it's more of a sheen, like a new car, but on my face.
04:35 My face is the new car.
04:37 I'm going to blend it out just subtly.
04:41 And no one's going to notice unless they pass by and the light just hits me just right,
04:46 and they see my eyes glow.
04:49 I'm going to use this busted pencil.
04:51 I'm going to use one size, and it's a blendable, smudgeable kind of eyeliner.
04:59 I'm going to be messy with it because, again, we don't want harsh lines.
05:02 So like that.
05:03 And then underneath a little bit, just to fill in the gaps in my baby eyelashes on the
05:10 bottom.
05:11 Now I'm going to blend with this brush.
05:12 I like the shape of this brush.
05:14 It's just a little square.
05:16 This is just going to make my eyes pop.
05:17 I don't use a black on my eyes usually, although when I do, it looks nice because my eyes are
05:22 kind of light brown.
05:23 It makes them stand out more than they would with just a regular brown.
05:26 But to me, a regular brown screams a little bit more daytime, and we're doing daytime
05:31 press, so normally I would have music playing.
05:35 I would have some Sade on.
05:37 I've been listening to Steal Away, which is so random.
05:40 Steal away.
05:41 Why don't we steal away?
05:44 It's my shower song lately.
05:46 Now, I want a little bit more definition and dimension in my eyes, so I'm going to go in
05:51 with a nice light brown in a way.
05:54 Lorac Pro Palette Artist Edition Maracchi.
05:56 Okay.
05:57 Oh, I get so nervous to do this.
05:59 Okay.
06:00 Just relax, Bella.
06:01 Relax.
06:02 You're only on YouTube.
06:03 Where is everyone?
06:04 Yeah, there we go.
06:07 So I find the crease of my eye, and I just kind of push it in there and kind of drag
06:11 it around.
06:12 It's not art.
06:13 It's not hard to do, I mean.
06:15 You don't need to go to beauty school to be able to do this.
06:17 I learned on YouTube, there's probably a right way to hold brushes too.
06:20 I don't know.
06:22 Kind of gripping it.
06:23 I kind of bring it into the inner corner of my eye just to add a little bit of purposeful
06:28 contour.
06:29 Oh, speaking of which, I forgot to contour my nose.
06:32 It's fine.
06:33 I like my nose.
06:34 I'm not going to contour it.
06:35 I'm going to add a little bit of a sheen.
06:36 I saw a picture of this girl who only did this right here.
06:41 It's not necessarily the inner corner, it's like the cleavage of the inner corner.
06:47 I'm just going to do that.
06:50 I really like this shade right here.
06:52 That's nice.
06:53 And a little goes a long way, so I'm going to be really subtle about it.
06:58 Okay.
06:59 Oh my God, I'm so scared.
07:03 Yeah.
07:04 Hot.
07:05 Lovely.
07:06 I've never done this specific technique before, and I'm thrilled.
07:10 Time for eyelashes.
07:12 I get a lot of compliments on my eyelashes.
07:14 That is my one certified flex.
07:16 My mom and my dad both have long eyelashes, but their eyelashes are straight down.
07:20 And mine are like that too, so I got to curl them up with this.
07:24 It's the Shiseido eyelash curler.
07:26 It's just, it feels really sturdy.
07:29 And I do my makeup in the car a lot.
07:31 That's my real 10 minute makeup routine.
07:34 And I feel like I won't pull my eyelashes out with this one, which is important.
07:39 Now I'm going to put on mascara.
07:44 And you'll see my eyelashes go.
07:46 My little brother actually has longer lashes than me, believe it or not.
07:50 So this is the Panorama mascara by L'Oreal.
07:53 I love it.
07:54 I love the way it applies.
07:55 I like the little bristles on the mascara applicator.
08:01 Now I'm going to use an eyebrow pencil, and this one is Brow Stylist Definer by L'Oreal
08:08 Paris.
08:09 And this shade, Brunette.
08:12 Let me tell y'all a life hack.
08:14 I used to use brow glue like every day because I was so mad about my eyebrows growing downwards,
08:19 just like my eyelashes.
08:20 And then I started getting them laminated.
08:23 Girlies, get them laminated.
08:25 But I've seen a lot of people out here with crusty eyebrows.
08:28 And it's because people don't put on argan oil.
08:33 I do it every other night before bed once I get my eyebrows laminated.
08:37 And let me tell you, it keeps them cute and sweet and soft because that's the problem
08:42 with the lamination.
08:43 It can dry out your hairs.
08:45 It keeps them soft, but it doesn't overdo it.
08:48 And it elongates how long your eyebrows are laminated for.
08:52 It's changed my life.
08:53 I'm going to be so for real.
08:54 So now I'm going to use the MAC lip pencil in Chestnuts.
09:00 We're going to do a little ombre moment.
09:01 I was inspired by this picture I saw of Naomi Campbell.
09:04 I look to her a lot for references because I'm kind of obsessed with the '90s, maybe
09:10 because I wasn't there.
09:12 I don't like to overline too much, but I like an overline on my cupid's bow like that.
09:18 OK.
09:20 So now I will use this aqua form.
09:25 It's simple, but it's effective.
09:27 And it stays on.
09:28 It's good for you.
09:29 No sparkle.
09:31 Yeah, baby.
09:34 I like this.
09:35 Gorgeous.
09:36 OK, so powder.
09:37 I'm going to use the Tatcha Silk Powder.
09:42 This little brush right here.
09:43 I'm going to get all over my robe.
09:49 Just in the T-zone.
09:50 Remember, we want to preserve the glow.
09:52 I'm not going to lie to you.
09:53 I was nervous today.
09:54 I always do this to myself.
09:56 I get nervous, overly nervous.
09:58 You know what?
09:59 Maybe it's part of the process, though, because if I'm overly nervous, then I'm overly proud
10:01 if I succeed at the end.
10:02 OK.
10:03 So this is the powder.
10:05 I'm actually going to add a little bit more of a sheen.
10:09 Just looking at the final product, I think I could do a little bit more highlight.
10:13 Aqua 4, I'm coming back in with it, and I'm going to get that glow on.
10:18 Let's go.
10:19 I'm going to dab it because this is probably going to carry some product with it a little
10:24 bit.
10:25 Amazing.
10:26 I'm going to bring it to my eyebrow bone, too.
10:32 Make that pop.
10:33 You've got to be really careful.
10:34 I'm warning you because if you move your hand other than a blot or a dab, it's going to
10:40 rub off the makeup on you.
10:41 I need to stop.
10:43 Done.
10:45 This is the final look.
10:46 I feel amazing, and I hope whoever tries this out feels amazing, too.
10:51 And I hope that my tips were helpful, and thank you Allure.
10:53 Bye.
