00:03 A Derbyshire woman who has been diagnosed with lung cancer for the second time is calling
00:07 on people to invest in the type of research that help to detect and treat her condition.
00:12 Following tests to investigate digestive problems in 2015, Kelly Harrop, who has always kept
00:18 fit and never smoked, was stunned when doctors found a tumour on her lungs at the age of
00:22 40.
00:23 Now aged 48, she has gone from working in stables and running marathons to scheduling
00:28 her life around hospital appointments.
00:30 She has had surgery to remove the tumour, followed by chemotherapy.
00:34 But doctors always knew there was a risk of the tumour reappearing, so they enrolled her
00:38 on a new research programme called Tracer X.
00:41 It was because of this that they spotted that she had developed cancer yet again.
00:45 She is currently undergoing targeted therapy treatment which can't cure the new cancer,
00:49 but can slow it down.
00:51 Now Kelly is urging people to follow her lead by supporting the launch of a charity's
00:55 new campaign, More Research Less Cancer.

01:08 There will be a very special visitor to Chesterfield Panthers Rugby Club this weekend when England
01:12 and Leicester star Ben Youngs is at the club to pass on his experience and help the coaching
01:16 team.
01:17 Ben, who plays scrum half at premiership side Leicester and who is the all-time appearance
01:21 record holder with 127 caps for England national team, will be at the Dunstan Road home with
01:26 the Panthers on Saturday.
01:27 The Panthers are taking out Ollerton when the match kicks off at 2.15pm.
01:31 Chesterfield will be hoping that his wealth of experience, which includes winning the
01:34 Six Nations Grand Slam in England, will help them overcome their Nottinghamshire rivals.
