00:05 Is it a playoff preview in the Western Conference,
00:08 what we saw last night out of Vancouver and Colorado?
00:11 >> It certainly could be with Vancouver, class of the Pacific Division this
00:18 season so far, and making the big move for Elias Lindholm about a month ago,
00:23 right before the All-Star break.
00:24 So that improves their defensive outlook for the rest of the season.
00:28 I wonder though if Vancouver is gonna continue to regress a little bit more.
00:33 That was just the first time all season that they lost three straight games,
00:37 which is really impressive.
00:38 But all three of those losses came in regulation and by multiple goals.
00:42 So something to monitor, right?
00:44 We've seen a lot of these Pacific teams, Edmondson start unusually slow, but
00:48 then turn it around.
00:49 LA fell off a cliff about a month ago, and
00:52 they're still recovering from that with the coaching change.
00:55 So the Pacific is so tough, so you really never know what's gonna come that
00:59 division's way in a matter of days or weeks compared to what we've seen so far.
01:04 But for Colorado, even though they have some weaknesses,
01:07 Nathan McKinnon is playing in another stratosphere,
01:10 maybe compared to any other player in the league.
01:13 He leads the NHL by a country mile in 20 plus mile per hour speed bursts.
01:18 So you can make the case he's even faster out there than Connor McDavid and
01:22 more explosive this season.
01:23 He's right on Kucherov's tail for the scoring title and
01:27 one of the leading favorites for the MVP.
