00:00The next headline might allow you to believe that, hey, what the injury is a
00:04flowers, might they be adding some familiar faces in Deontay Johnson, who
00:09goes back to the Ravens where he was earlier this season as they claim him
00:14off waivers. But that's not necessarily the case. Deontay Johnson cannot join
00:19the Ravens officially until February 10th, the day after Super Bowl Sunday.
00:25But Baltimore picks him up because depending on where he signs this
00:29offseason as an unrestricted free agent, they could get a compensatory pick, which
00:35is always helpful to an organization. Yeah, Daniel Jones with the Minnesota
00:39Vikings had no intention of playing that guy, but if he signs somewhere else
00:42where it goes into the formula, it makes some sense. Also, if you're not
00:44understanding what the Ravens are doing, just think about your fantasy football
00:47team. Late in the season, you're making a run to win your fantasy league. The other
00:52opposing team is short on wide receivers. So you pick up Deontay Johnson
00:56to block them from getting an active wide receiver, therefore could be
00:59helping their team. I don't like Deontay Johnson all that much, but he
01:01does have some talent. And if somebody in a pinch needed an extra wide
01:05receiver that, oh, yeah, understood the Baltimore Ravens offense and you
01:09brought him in and he told you all those secrets that you could use as
01:11well. And what some of those calls might be, it could help you. It's a good
01:14move by the Ravens, just blocking everybody else. And also, they don't
01:17even like Deontay Johnson. But how about this? You have to. Well, why
01:20would he show up or why would he agree to this? He's gonna get paid. He's on
01:23the roster. Every game that they play, he is going to get a paycheck. If they
01:27win the Super Bowl, he's gonna get a ring from the Ravens despite them
01:30hating him, him hating the Ravens and him not even being around the team. How
01:34about that?
