00:00 I'm sick of it. Every day I have to listen to his nonsense.
00:03 Another thing I wanted to talk about, Phil, and it's another question that people keep
00:09 asking or another talking point is who actually really appoints the manager at Sunderland?
00:13 I ask this because it does feel like sometimes there's a difference in strategy in terms
00:19 of the flirtation with Roy Keane was very different to ending up with Alex Neil and
00:27 the flirtation with Will Still was very different to ending up with Michael Beale. Is it all
00:32 on Speakman? Is it a joint effort with Kiriluid Dreyfus and Juan Satori having a little bit
00:36 of ownership in that decision-making process? And I ask this because obviously the Sunderland
00:41 till I die documentary, we see both of Sunderland's co-owners talking about that very topical
00:46 issue, as you would expect to own the club. But I find that fascinating because if I had
00:52 to put money on it, the Roy Keane flirtation wasn't something that was probably driven
00:56 by Christian Speakman.
00:57 I think we can draw fairly our own thoughts on that, can't we? Because we know Christian
01:03 Speakman very well. We listen to him. We see what he says and we see Roy Keane on a Sunday
01:09 and we hear what he says. So I'm just going to leave those two things there. I think what
01:15 that essentially tells you is that how old football clubs work. People can make decisions,
01:21 have ideas, run processes. He ultimately decides the owner. So maybe sometimes when the manager
01:28 goes and you think that's slightly odd timing, that maybe tells you that there's some decisions
01:34 being made at the top rather than it always being entirely logical and entirely logical.
