Eric Burt, butler to Lord and Lady Deeds, is astonished when he discovers that after many years of loyal service he is considered surplus to requirements. Even more gallingly he finds himself dumped in a care home by his employees. However, he soon comes to know the other residents, including a couple of old sisters who seem to possess mystical powers of clairvoyance. And it comes in handy when later there is a death at the home...

This is one I was fortunate enough to save from Mick's Nostalgia Channel before it disappeared and is another TV programme that has never been repeated or released on DVD. Originally broadcast on December 30th 1990 this is an original recording (minus ads), so apologies in advance for any glitches there may be. Part drama, part comedy, part mystery and part mysticism, it's hard to catagorize this, but it's not a bad drama at all with some nice familiar faces - including a pre-My Parents Are Aliens appearance by Barbara Durkin.
