11:37 But she did not join the PIRMA or People's Initiative for Modernization and Reform Action, and she just assists when it comes to things regarding constitutional and legal aspects.
11:49 It's just problematic to me because I actually have the transcript of Mr. Oñate's testimony during the last hearing during which he said, "Anthony Abad is one of the volunteers in our professional sector."
12:03 On November, she was the first to assist in the People's Initiative. In December, she and several congressmen met with Speaker Martin Romualdez.
12:14 Oñate is the lead convener of the PIRMA group, who also introduced the charter change to Ed Sapuera, who is now behind the scenes.
12:22 The group has not yet been registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission or SEC for 20 years.
12:28 In fact, PIRMA no longer exists as of February 10, 2004. Is that correct?
12:35 Yes, Madam Chair. Their certificate of registration has been revoked since February 10, 2004.
12:41 Since the time of their incorporation, they have not submitted any reportorial requirements with the SEC.
12:48 According to the SEC, Oñate and Abad were not part of the PIRMA group when this incorporation was submitted.
12:54 Oñate's lawyer said that the corporate registration of PIRMA was still being fixed in the SEC but they submitted the document online.
13:02 Just this February, Madam Chair.
13:05 So, just after the hearing?
13:07 Yes, Madam Chair.
13:09 This is already a multi-year process.
13:11 The process is, Madam Chair, we submitted...
13:13 PIRMA has been 20 years.
13:15 I am just confused, Atty. Avizada, about your timeline.
13:19 You initiated the People's Initiative but the documentation of your PIRMA is not yet fixed.
13:27 Before that, the discussion was heated when Senators asked Oñate for the list of donors for the P55M TV ad placement of Ed Sapuera.
13:38 For additional information of the committee, our contributors were also invoking their right to privacy.
13:46 She returned the more than P27 million of the donation she has received from her three bank accounts.
13:53 The DSWD also criticized the more than P26 million in the ACAP program that, as a contribution, was being promised to the PIRMA members in the People's Initiative.
14:04 But this cannot be explained by the DSWD.
14:07 Madam Chair, ACAP is just as foreign to us, technically, as Senator Batol.
14:14 As it is provided in line item.
14:17 Yes, using the Mapuro, I understand.
14:19 [Chanting]
14:23 Several groups protested in front of the Senate, along with the hearing.
14:28 The hearing on Chacha and Halip was stopped, but the additional payment for the workers was given notice.
14:35 For GMA Integrated News, Ian Cruz, your witness.
14:41 Many people became interested in the first day of the public offering in the 30th tranche of the Retail Treasury Bond or RTV30.
14:47 At a minimum of P5,000, you can now get a 6.25% interest from the government's treasury bond and earn every year.
14:56 Given the very strong demand, I think it's one of the most successful RTV issuance that we have in the recent years.
15:04 Aside from being bigger than the usual interest in the banks, it is also a zero risk investment or there is no risk of loss.
15:10 It is guaranteed by the government.
15:12 Although it is long term, it is guaranteed.
15:16 The government will not bankrupt it, it will just increase the amount.
15:21 But unlike the banks, the time to invest in RTV30 is limited.
15:26 It started today and will last until February 28.
15:29 It is also a long time before the treasury bond was issued.
15:32 A financial expert said that it is good to invest in bonds now.
15:36 The inflation is low and the interest is still high.
15:40 You can invest online through the Bureau of Treasury Online Ordering Facility and through the mobile banking apps of some banks.
15:47 It is better than those that have higher interest.
15:51 Sometimes you hear about influencers but the source is not verifiable.
15:55 You will have a second thought.
15:56 Second, if the interest is too high.
15:59 For me, anything that goes beyond 10%, 8%, 10%, 12%, 15%, especially 5% a month,
16:07 that's it.
16:08 For me, if they say, turn your back on it, don't look at it.
16:12 For GMA Integrated News, your Raffy Pima, Saksi.
16:17 The last time Vice President Sara Duterte was involved in the Oplan Tukhang,
16:24 she was involved in a murder case here in the Philippines.
16:27 She said that it is highly questionable.
16:29 The investigation of the International Criminal Court or ICC in the Duterte Drug War is still ongoing.
16:35 From Malaysia, Saksi Live with Marisol Abdurrahman.
16:39 Marisol.
16:41 Vice President Sara Duterte has been busy visiting Malaysia for an important meeting as the president of the Southeast Asian Ministry of Education organization.
16:54 But we still asked the VP of Celang Issue, as the ICC, about her father and former president, Rodrigo Duterte.
17:03 For me, I cannot speak for the other members of the family.
17:11 For me, not really because I also get legal advice from Filipino lawyers who know about international law.
17:22 That's what Vice President Sara Duterte is claiming.
17:25 The investigation of the ICC in the Duterte Drug War is ongoing.
17:28 She is being supported by Arturo Lascañas, who was the former Oplan Tukhang in Davao City when she was the mayor.
17:35 But what about her father?
17:37 I'm sure he has conversations with lawyers because the president of Duterte is also a lawyer.
17:44 He understands the legal implications and procedures in the ICC.
17:51 Lascañas doesn't have any plans to file a case against her.
17:54 She introduced herself as a member of the Davao Death Squad.
17:56 But she said,
17:57 I challenge you to file a case against me for murder in the Philippines.
18:04 She mentioned on her second day in Malaysia when she met the Filipino community.
18:10 She was angry like this.
18:13 She just smiled.
18:19 2028 is too far away for us to predict what will happen in 2028 because our lives are changing every day.
18:30 The Minister of Education of Malaysia met with Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte
18:38 for her visit to the Tropical Medicine Center in Malaysia.
18:42 In their short visit, the Vice Minister of Education thanked her for her support as the president of the Southeast Asian Minister of Education Organization.
18:51 She also visited the classroom and laboratory.
18:53 The second president also tasted the food of culinary students in a vocational school run by the Ministry of Education.
19:00 She also taught the students how to make clothes,
19:03 one of which is tree planting,
19:05 and a visit to a nursery classroom.
19:08 Meanwhile, the second president's visit was documented when a congressman called for the father of former President Rodrigo Duterte
19:17 and his brothers to stop attacking President Bongbong Marcos.
19:21 Well, I have no comment on politics because everyone can go their way in politics.
19:28 But in development projects in Mindanao,
19:32 we are focusing on President Marcos' visit to Davao City.
19:38 Tomorrow, the second president will return to the country.
19:46 She will bring together the students and education here in Malaysia
19:50 and the beautiful stories of our fellow countrymen here.
19:54 Live from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for GMA Integrated News,
19:59 I am Marisol Abdurrahman, your witness.
