00:00The next day was brighter with the premiere of the Filipino adaptation of the hit Korean series, Shining Inheritance.

00:10Some of the cast of the emotional series were introduced to the media launch. Here's what I saw.

00:18The cast of the Filipino adaptation of the 2009 hit Korean series, Shining Inheritance was formally introduced.

00:25It was a hit close to home for veteran actress Connie Reyes because she's already a grandmother.

00:31The series was a milestone for her.

00:34The character with dementia, Alzheimer's, it's a challenge for me. It's another challenging role.

00:42So I was really just excited to portray Orya de la Costa.

00:50Kate Valdez's character was full of blood, sweat, and tears especially in a lot of action scenes.

00:55There was a trailer where we had a garbage scene. It was two versus one.

01:00I think we had an argument because I was really dizzy after that.

01:04That's how it feels when you're being helped.

01:07Paul Salas and Michael Sager were also there.

01:10The diehard fans of Shining Inheritance also loved this character, Francis.

01:16What I want to do is give justice to what the characters did previously.

01:21But of course, this Filipino adaptation.

01:23Kailin Alcantara's connection to Kobe Paras became a hot topic in the media conference.

01:28Especially when it comes to the footage where Kailin was in a condom.

01:33Kailin also admitted that she introduced Kobe to her co-stars.
