00:00 >> Yeah, you and Landon were kinda guys that got a taste of it.
00:04 >> Yes, sir. >> Instead of just being in total
00:06 development like most linemen do.
00:08 So tell me about your first year.
00:10 >> It was really good.
00:11 I just tried to get better every single day, every single time.
00:14 The scout team, where I started this year, and then we're working our way up to
00:19 just the twos, kinda just went through one day at a time, just try to get better for
00:23 the team, just help the team in any way possible.
00:27 >> Yeah, how ready are you?
00:30 Because probably gonna be jobs available in the spring up front.
00:34 And do you play both guard and tackle or just guard?
00:36 >> I can play both, yes, sir.
00:37 >> Yeah, so you must be kinda eager cuz things could happen for you right away.
00:41 >> Yeah, 100%, I'm just trying to stay ready.
00:45 Just whatever spot really, whether it be tackle, guard,
00:47 just trying to stay ready for the team, wherever Coach Huff wants me.
00:52 Just stay ready, but I feel prepared, I'm confident.
00:56 I just keep preparing for when the moment comes.
00:58 >> Yeah, so here you're in your first season of college football and
01:01 you're sitting in the CFP, which it's a very elite few that are doing it.
01:06 How does that grab you, coming down here to the Superdome and
01:08 playing in the big stage?
01:10 >> It's so surreal.
01:13 When we had practice here the first time, I looked up, it was crazy how we were here.
01:18 But I mean, that was the goal and job's not done.
01:22 It's just, I'm just trying to take it all in.
