00:38 head coach Jim Harbaugh is going to be making his return to the NFL ranks to coach the Los
00:44 Angeles Chargers with former Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert leading that offense.
00:49 But this is notable for Bear's recruitment because he told me during the Adidas All-American
00:55 Bowl practice week that his decision is going to at least to some degree be influenced by
01:02 Harbaugh's decision to either stay in Ann Arbor or take an NFL job.
01:07 So now we know that Harbaugh is going to be going to the NFL and you would think that
01:13 that bodes well for Junior Adams, Dan Lanning, and the Ducks.
01:18 It's worth noting that Bear was very complimentary of Sharon Moore who is expected or at least
01:24 viewed as the favorite to be named the new head coach in the wake of Harbaugh's departure
01:31 from Michigan, who just won a national title.
01:35 But Bear has been very complimentary of both schools throughout his recruitment and the
01:40 Oregon coaches have made it a point, made it a priority to get out to Idaho during the
01:46 contact period to visit with Bear as well as the coaching staff over there at Burley.
01:52 So Oregon already has a really good recruiting hall of wide receivers in the 2024 class with
01:58 Ryan Pelham and Jeremiah McCullen being two of the blue chip headliners for Junior Adams.
02:04 But you also have Dylan Gresham out of San Jacinto, California as someone with a ton
02:09 of upside in this class for Dan Lanning and the Ducks.
02:12 But adding the commitment from Gatlin Bear would really just continue to solidify Oregon
