00:00 What's it like to be going through this process with your quarterback, with your running back, with your center?
00:04 I mean, you have so many familiar faces to all be kind of going through this together.
00:07 Yeah, no, it's pretty cool.
00:08 You know, I think it gives us like a, you know, just like a sense of like just being comfortable, you know.
00:13 We're all going through the same thing. So
00:15 we could just talk to each other, do all that little stuff, you know, to just make sure everybody's straight.
00:20 What'd you want to get out today specifically? What were you looking to show today?
00:23 So just like cleaner routes, you know, showing me getting out, in and out my breaks and then just my speed again for sure,
00:28 you know, but enhanced too because that's what I kind of been hearing about. But other than that, yeah, it's pretty much it.
00:35 So do you feel like you accomplished what you set out to do?
00:37 Oh yeah, most definitely. I think I had a good day for sure.
00:39 Unless you go to the same team, I mean, what will you miss most about Bowdoin X being your quarterback?
00:44 Shit, man, just our friendship, you know, just our conversations we have, you know.
00:51 And just being, I don't know, just being around him, being around the type of guy he is for sure.
00:56 What's this process been like for you? Is there anything that surprised you just about those last few weeks?
01:01 I didn't know you had to put that much work into the 40, 40-yard dash. It was kind of a lot of work, you know.
01:06 First two days in Indy were kind of long, but other than that, after that was all football, you know, so it was cool.
01:16 Are you happy with the 4-4-1?
01:18 Yeah, yeah, most definitely, hell yeah.
01:20 How do you feel about your weight? I don't know what your weight in today, but did you get back?
01:24 Yeah, no, the weight was, yeah, I definitely got it back up. Today I was like 183.
01:27 In Indy, it was just those first two days was kind of long.
01:31 I was a little sick before I went out there too, so I kind of lost a little bit of weight, you feel me?
01:36 But I got it back in, yeah.
01:38 You talked on the YouTube stuff about wanting to show more strength, which
01:41 it's hard to do necessarily before the draft. So how do you try to do that other than bench?
01:47 But I mean, like how do you actually try to do that?
01:49 It's kind of just being in the weight room, you know, getting working, making sure I'm being consistent.
01:54 Make sure I'm just getting in every day, you know.
01:56 Yeah, that's pretty much it though. And then it kind of just shows on the field or whatever, you know, but yeah.
02:01 What does the next month look like for you?
02:04 Pretty much just, you know, training for football, getting in the weight room.
02:08 Just trying to get back into football shape.
02:10 It's pretty much it though. Yeah, just trying to get ready, see where I'm about to go, all that good stuff.
02:15 You mentioned at the combine you wanted to do anything special teams.
02:20 Obviously in the few times we saw you at practice, you were out there feeling punts.
02:23 Is there tape, because we never got to see it in game, is there tape of
02:27 quasi contact Troy in punt return or kick return on a practice film somewhere that you could show teams?
02:34 I'm pretty sure. Yeah, most definitely, you know, I got some definitely got some return film,
02:38 punt return film, you know, in practice. So most definitely.
02:42 How different is like combine shape from game shape?
02:47 Like you're obviously training for a certain set of tests now.
02:50 Combine shape from game shape.
02:52 I'll say it's a little different, you know, here you're kind of doing everything more back-to-back in the game. You'll get like a
02:57 certain amount of time break, you know.
03:00 But yeah, I think you got to just be ready to just go back-to-back type deal. Yeah.
03:06 Did you meet with Tampa or BMAC in the combine?
03:09 I did not meet with Tampa.
03:12 Would be like to see everything that you set out to do, everything that BMAC was selling you on
03:17 three years ago, to have that happen, to be the first receiver here taking the first two rounds in 25 years.
03:23 That'll be
03:25 that'll be something cool for sure, you know, that's why one of the reasons why I came here for sure, you know, so
03:30 most definitely it would be a good feeling.
03:33 People that have been in your corner through this process and how they helped you navigate a lot of the challenges.
03:39 My high school coach that helped me with the recruiting process and introducing me to the college scene, all that good stuff.
03:43 My mom, obviously, dad.
03:46 My agents, you know, so I think everybody, that's my circle of people that I trust and you know
03:53 talk to to get advice and things like that. So yeah.
03:56 A lot of people are gonna say you're the best receiver in program history, Troy, and statistically you certainly are.
04:02 Do you feel like you are? I mean, you had a chance to probably meet with Madh Rashaad briefly.
04:07 He was one of those guys in that conversation. Sammy Parker, others.
04:10 Do you feel like, do you leave here saying, yeah, I was the best to play here? Most definitely, most definitely. I think
04:16 you know, my stats show that.
04:18 Plays I've made
04:20 and just everything I've done for the program, you know, so most definitely.
04:24 When you look back, what do you think your favorite moment will be as an Oregon Duck?
04:28 Texas Tech, no doubt, most definitely.
04:31 We were down, you know, different environment.
04:36 You know, West Coast kid. For me, you know, it was hot as hell out down there.
04:40 I just had to make sure, you know, just pushing myself through it and I feel like that's what we all did as a team,
04:46 you know.
04:46 Being down, we collectively stayed in the game, fought, came back and won, you know.
04:51 I don't think a lot of people were thinking we were gonna win that game, but yeah.
04:55 What have you thought about this being one of the last times you're gonna be in here, in this building?
05:00 I don't know, I haven't really thought about it too much, you know, but
05:06 I think it will start setting in on me when I'm like, I haven't came for like a week or something.
05:11 And that's really, really realized that, you know, but yeah.
05:13 If you get invited to Detroit, are you gonna go or are you gonna do the draft at home?
05:18 I'm still trying to figure that out.
05:20 Yeah, I'm trying to, you know, decide if I'm going to just do like a little family and friends type deal,
05:24 you know, at home or go to Detroit and, you know, just get that full experience too.
05:29 So, yeah, I'm trying to figure that out though right now still.
