00:05 The number one overall seed in the NFC playoff picture,
00:08 the San Francisco 49ers also a nine and a half point favorite.
00:13 Against the Green Bay Packers,
00:14 it's the highest total of the weekend as well at 50 and a half.
00:19 Let's add in the historic component here, Blue, to this matchup.
00:22 It will be the 10th all time postseason meeting between the Packers and
00:27 the 49ers.
00:28 Now a new NFL record for the most frequent playoff matchup in the history
00:34 of the National Football League.
00:36 How familiar are these foes with their two head coaches, Kyle Shanahan for
00:41 San Francisco and Matt LaFleur for Green Bay, knowing each other pretty well?
00:45 >> Yeah, it's clearly there's a lot of famous historic moments between these
00:51 teams, the famous Terrell Owens touchdown catch going all the way back to the 90s.
00:57 And these teams facing off in big matchups historically.
01:00 What we're finding now though is the Niners in the middle of a really good
01:04 historic run.
01:05 They have not yet won a Super Bowl with this squad,
01:09 from Jimmy G to Trey Lance to now Brock Purdy.
01:12 We'll see if they can reach the mountaintop.
01:14 And a lot of people are talking about how their path is perhaps easier
01:18 than we originally anticipated.
01:19 But they're facing down a Packers team that's been white hot,
01:23 a quarterback that has been frankly one of the best in the entire league
01:27 as we head into this playoff game.
01:29 But what does concern me, and I've really given this a lot of thought,
01:33 can Jordan Love get out there and keep playing the same way?
01:37 I think he's gonna have a big volume game, but
01:39 it's because I think they're gonna be down.
01:42 I think Kyle Shanahan going up against Joe Barry is what I'm really going to be
01:46 focused on here.
01:47 And this Niners offense, particularly getting off to good starts,
01:51 one of the best scoring first half teams in the league.
01:54 Do like their first half total over 15 and a half tomorrow.
01:59 Just because the Packers had a good performance last week defensively,
02:05 especially in the first half against Dallas, which is all that really mattered.
02:09 It doesn't mean they're gonna roll it out again against what is arguably
02:13 the most efficient offense in the entire league.
02:15 So I think this might be Joe Barry's last game as defensive coordinator.
02:19 I would be surprised if they're able to contain the Niners in any way.
02:23 I think the Packers' best chance is trying to keep the Niners off the field.
02:26 And frankly, they haven't been playing offense like that lately.
02:29 A lot of big plays, which is great, explosive plays.
02:32 Mixing it up to different wide receivers, to Tavian Wicks, Romeo Dobbs,
02:36 guys that had low prop totals for the last few weeks and do again.
02:41 Those have been good options.
02:42 So consider those guys, I consider Jordan Love a volume play.
02:46 But for now, I'm gonna take the Niners in the first half team total.
02:51 Nine and a half always leaves it open for a backdoor.
02:54 But Ben, as you stated in your well-crafted notes,
02:58 all of the Niners wins are by double digits.
