Commissioner denies building are at risk of collapse
Residents of a Sydney apartment complex have been offered a re-assurance their homes are safe despite a report finding the development is at risk of collapse. The building commissioner says there is no likelihood of that happening and the defects are being rectified. But many residents and owners have been sent into a panic.

00:44 It's the same project where an 18 year old apprentice was killed in a scaffolding collapse
00:48 during construction in 2019.
00:51 That was before any of the legislative powers in New South Wales was stood up.
00:55 As far as the builder that was involved in that site that had a horrendous safety record,

01:06 The commissioner also found the building's certifier had been fined in the past 10 years.
