00:00 We'll be right back.
00:03 Everybody likes the Rams.
00:04 Why is this three?
00:05 I mean, it should be two and a half to line.
00:07 Screams Detroit.
00:08 I like the Lions tonight.
00:09 All did up seven and a half.
00:11 Well, I will say a lot of mush is a lot of people on the LA Rams today and that scares me.
00:16 I'm sitting on a who are they name them?
00:20 They're out there.
00:21 I can't say you Mel.
00:22 I will just say this.
00:26 I mean you look at this team right now in terms of where they've been over the second half of the regular season.
00:31 The addition and emergence of Kyron Williams in regards to the rushing attack.
00:36 The way Stafford's played in terms of hitting Puka Nuku'a Cooper Cup has resurged in terms of this offense.
00:43 They just look like they're hitting on all cylinders and peaking just at the right time.
00:48 Much like the Houston Texans in terms of that offense.
00:51 You can make the assessment for the LA Rams.
00:53 And I understand the Dan Campbell in Detroit at home a very good dominant home team.
00:58 Very physical.
00:59 But again, I would want Matt Stafford, a quarterback that has won a Super Bowl and those playmakers in this type of environment.
01:07 And we haven't seen Detroit secondary step up and be this elite group.
01:11 I think they're going to get challenged today.
01:13 And the fact that McVay has won a Super Bowl and just finds ways to out game plan other coaches.
01:20 I think it's a bad matchup.
01:22 I'm still going to take the points with LA today.
01:24 And you know what?
01:25 The points with LA does make some sense because what do you do well?
01:28 We have a couple elite wide receivers and a quarterback that's won a Super Bowl in his hometown who's used to playing in a dome.
01:33 There is going to be room to throw today for the Los Angeles Rams.
01:36 But again, having said that with the Detroit Lions, that is a really good offense.
01:39 It is a really good offense, especially at home.
01:42 Now the way I thought my way through this game was the minute it came out, it was like, okay, the Rams are one of those hot teams.
01:47 And you know me, I love rest in the NFL.
01:49 They took the bye week and actually still won a football game last week with Carson Wentz over the San Francisco 49ers.
01:54 Now I didn't lose any, like, you know, gas out of the balloon per se at this point.
01:58 We're saying, well, now that doesn't hold up because yesterday Cleveland had a bye that didn't look so good.
02:02 But the one thing that I do know from years and years of betting in the NFL, you're telling me that Detroit is at home, the higher seeded team, only having to win by roughly three, which means just win the game.
02:11 I have a hard time turning my back on that and saying, you know what?
02:14 I really love the Rams.
02:15 I do think the Rams will be competitive.
02:16 And again, not going to be surprising if the Rams go in there and win this football game.
02:19 But the way I've seen that Detroit offense operate at home this year, I think they're going to be able to score at will at least the high 20s for me, Kevin, today for them.
