00:00 Yeah, I mean, obviously being snubbed was terrible.
00:03 I mean, it sucked.
00:04 And, you know, it kind of went away for a little bit.
00:07 Then once, you know, all the games got played this past week and weekend,
00:10 I think it kind of brought it all back.
00:12 Like, damn, maybe we should have really been in there, you know.
00:14 And yeah, I mean, it sucks.
00:16 The worst part about it is, you know, we'll never get to really know,
00:19 like, what could have happened.
00:20 And, you know, it's unfortunate the way it played out.
00:24 Just that that team is never going to be together again is, you know,
00:26 what hurts the most.
00:28 You know, from coaches, staff, everybody moves on at some point.
00:31 And, you know, that team, the exact way it was in that roster,
00:34 will never be the same again.
00:35 And you just can't help but think, like, damn, like, what if?
00:37 You know, like, what if we would have got in?
00:38 And I think just the opportunity for everybody, you know,
00:41 to get that opportunity to play on that stage and that environment,
00:43 I mean, it would have been huge.
00:44 I mean, that's life-changing, you know.
00:46 And to miss out on that, it just really sucks.
00:49 It's really unfortunate.
00:50 But it's easy to say there's greater things in store, which, you know,
00:55 I think there is.
00:55 But it's just, you know, in that moment, that timing,
00:58 it's kind of unfortunate.
00:59 But, yeah, with the Orange Bowl, you know, I think it was important to me
01:03 to be with the team just because, you know, we made it this far.
01:07 You know, we accomplished so much.
01:09 And, you know, I really love the people I was around in the building.
01:11 You know, I didn't want to just end it there.
01:14 I didn't think it was right to end it, you know, just after the ACC Championship.
01:18 And, you know, we didn't get what we wanted.
01:19 I didn't feel like it was right to just drop everything and leave.
01:22 But, yeah, I mean, the attempt was to play in the game.
01:27 I mean, I was battling an injury.
01:29 And, you know, we were on a, you know, day-to-day basis, you know,
01:31 where we could get to.
01:32 It was a game-time decision.
01:34 And, you know, ultimately, it just didn't end up being the right decision for me to go
01:37 out there and play just based off of, you know, my status.
01:40 And, you know, it's a shame because, you know, I think people interpreted that as the wrong way.
01:44 But it's just an unfortunate situation that happened.
01:46 And, you know, just overall, the month of December kind of just was all over the place.
01:52 And, you know, it sucks, you know, that's the way such a great season ended up having
01:56 to finish out.
01:57 But, you know, I think we can still be grateful for the fact that, you know,
02:01 it all happened the way it did.
02:02 And, I mean, if you look back just three or four years ago where this program was to where it is
02:06 now and, you know, what Coach Norvell and the staff and, you know,
02:09 the university has been able to build around here, it's really special.
02:13 And I think that's what should be remembered.
02:14 I mean, I get the bowl game didn't play out the way it should.
02:16 And in a way, it kind of was kind of embarrassing the way it played out.
02:20 But, you know, I think, you know, we can be proud of what we were able to accomplish though.
02:24 And I think everybody should be proud of, you know, what--
02:28 where we were and where we've gotten to to this point.
02:30 And, you know, I think, you know, where we're going is going to be even more special,
02:33 especially with who we got running this program.
02:35 I think everybody should be pretty excited for that.
