00:00 Second row to your right.
00:03 Hey, Trey.
00:04 Jared said that he thinks you could
00:06 have run faster at the combine.
00:09 I mean, how much faster?
00:11 Yeah, my start wasn't good, but I could have knocked him.
00:14 I could have been a low 4' 3" or a late 4' 2", 4' 2" 9",
00:18 a low 4' 3".
00:19 So yeah, it could have been a better start,
00:21 but a 4' 3" was--
00:22 4' 3" 9" was my goal.
00:23 Anything in the 4' 3" was my goal,
00:25 so that's why I kind of shut it down.
00:26 But it for sure could have been better.
00:28 [INAUDIBLE]
00:33 All right, next will be Brendan, front row on your left.
00:35 How'd you run in the 4' 2"s during your training at all?
00:41 For sure.
00:42 Yeah, my best time was a 4' 2" 8".
00:46 That's why I know it could have been better.
00:48 And my start was not good at the combine.
00:50 But you know, hey, 4' 3" is my goal,
00:52 so I just thank God for that.
00:56 And then a follow up is Jared had somehow
01:00 thought he was faster than you, I thought, for a little while.
01:03 And I guess this shut that down.
01:04 Has he kept talking since then, or has that kind of ended?
01:07 Oh, no.
01:08 Now we don't even argue about who's the fastest.
01:10 Now he know not to bring it up, because I'm just
01:12 bringing the 40-yard dash up every time.
01:14 So that's my guy, though.
01:16 He fast.
01:17 He ran the 4' 5".
01:17 I thought-- I actually thought he was going to run the late 4'
01:20 4".
01:20 That's what I thought he was going to run.
01:22 But he thought I was going to run the late 4' 2",
01:24 so we had high expectations for each other.
01:27 Third row to Trey.
01:29 Trey, following up on that, can you talk about your experience
01:31 at the combine as a whole, what it
01:33 was like having a lot of your teammates there,
01:34 and then also what it was like meeting with teams
01:36 in the interview process?
01:37 It was a great experience, you know,
01:40 something I dreamed about since I was younger.
01:42 It was good meeting all the people
01:43 that you watch on TV, meeting all the other running backs
01:45 that I watched, and just spending time with them,
01:48 spending time with my teammates.
01:50 And seeing my teammates, it was just--
01:51 it was surreal, you know, because I've
01:53 been with them these past two years,
01:55 and the team chemistry that we had was--
01:57 it was unmatchable.
01:59 So yeah, it's been good.
02:00 And meeting with the team, it was kind of nerve-wracking,
02:03 because seeing the people that you see on TV,
02:05 seeing the coaches that you see on TV, it was just--
02:08 it was crazy.
02:08 When I was there, it felt like a dream the whole time, though.
02:11 So I'm just extremely blessed and highly favored.
02:15 We'll come back to your right, second row to Cory.
02:18 I know it's part of the deal.
02:19 You have to run at these things, but when you wear that GPS
02:23 and you're timed at whatever it is, 22 miles per hour,
02:26 do you want to tell teams, just watch that?
02:28 Like, you can see that I can run?
02:30 Or, I mean, you know what I mean?
02:31 You already proved you're one of the fastest people
02:33 in the country.
02:35 So what exactly are you trying to prove with a fast 40 time
02:38 when you've got that on film?
02:40 It's just check the box off, you know?
02:41 It's just confirming that I'm fast.
02:45 I feel like that was the 40-yard dash.
02:46 You're just confirming that I'm fast,
02:48 and it's not just game speed.
02:49 So that's what I feel like it is.
02:51 But you can't sit on film me running away from people
02:54 and me being at home running through it.
02:55 But running the 40-yard dash just confirmed it.
02:58 Just check that box off.
03:00 We'll stay there for Ira.
03:02 I think people understand why guys maybe don't
03:05 want to play in a bowl game if they're
03:07 getting ready for the draft, injuries and training
03:09 and all that.
03:10 But how hard was it to hear some of the stuff people
03:13 were saying about you guys when that Georgia game was going
03:16 down?
03:17 Yeah, it was tough, you know, watching my teammates.
03:20 And I watched the game for sure.
03:21 I watched the whole game.
03:22 Even though it was hard to watch, I watched it.
03:24 And I just wish I could be out there with the guys
03:26 and--
03:27 because, you know, that chemistry that we had.
03:28 And I'm pretty sure it would have been a different outcome
03:31 with all of us out there.
03:32 I'm pretty sure it would be--
03:33 I'm most certain it would be a better outcome for sure.
03:38 All right, next question will come from Zoom.
03:40 Logan?
03:42 What's up, Trey?
03:44 Real quick, you're back in Tallahassee.
03:45 How's it been seeing some of your former teammates
03:48 and also too, you posted a video on Instagram of J Trab running
03:52 in the training room.
03:54 What's it like seeing him get back to his recovery soon?
03:56 He said he'll be available here in a few months.
03:58 What's it been like to see him during his rehab?
04:02 I've been-- like, every time I see him I just smile, you know,
04:04 because he came a long way.
04:05 You know, he didn't deserve that.
04:07 But hey, he's a soldier.
04:09 He's a diehard, you know, Seminole.
04:11 And I believe in everything, you know,
04:13 that he going to be able to do.
04:15 I actually seen him throw yesterday on the field too.
04:17 And he looked good.
04:18 Like, you can't even tell he hurt.
04:20 He was dropping back and everything.
04:22 So I'm ready to, you know, see what's in store for him.
04:25 I just know these next couple of years
04:27 is going to be amazing for him because he deserve it.
04:30 We'll go back to Brandon on your left.
04:32 When you had entered the transfer portal,
04:34 I guess, how many options were there for you
04:37 outside of Florida State?
04:38 And kind of following up on that,
04:39 like, what did it mean that Florida State took a gamble
04:44 on you given that you hadn't put up a lot of film
04:46 with the injury previously?
04:48 I had a couple of options.
04:49 It wasn't too many options, though.
04:51 But, you know, Coach Naveah, he took that chance on me
04:53 because I didn't have no film, you know, coming from Oregon.
04:56 I only got the ball six times.
04:57 And that was towards the end of the game at Oregon.
05:00 And you couldn't really show--
05:01 I couldn't really show who I was.
05:02 But, you know, he believed in me.
05:04 He believed in my work ethic.
05:05 I just appreciate him for everything, you know,
05:07 because we picked up what we left off
05:09 because he gave my first offer out of high school
05:11 when he was at his previous school.
05:12 So Coach Naveah, he just, you know,
05:15 he's just a real person.
05:16 And I'm just glad I met him,
05:18 and I'm glad he took a chance on me.
05:20 All right, third row, Jordan.
05:22 Trey, you're obviously one of the best backs in this draft.
05:24 Without kind of disparaging those other guys,
05:26 what do you think sets you apart from some of your competition?
05:31 Just probably the home run a bit.
05:34 Like, every time I touch the ball,
05:35 got a chance to take it to distance.
05:38 No matter where I'm at on the field,
05:39 if I get the ball in my hand, I'm a home run threat.
05:42 That's what I feel like.
05:44 All right, we'll come back to the fourth
05:45 and second row here, right?
05:47 Ask Jared this, too.
05:49 You know, he was a zero-star recruit that started at Albany,
05:52 and you were at Oregon for two years and got six carries.
05:54 Did you ever get down to a point where you're like,
05:57 "Man, am I going to be something in college football?
05:59 Am I going to be the guy that I always thought
06:01 I was going to be when I was a little kid?"
06:04 Yeah, I knew it was going to happen,
06:05 but I knew it was going to take time.
06:07 You know, me being behind those other guys at Oregon,
06:10 it actually helped me out because, you know,
06:12 they actually taught me a lot,
06:13 and I'm still cool with those running backs to this day
06:16 because they seen it in me as well,
06:18 but, you know, I guess I wasn't ready then,
06:21 but now here I am, you know, big stage,
06:24 you know, getting invited to the combine,
06:27 doing good these past two seasons,
06:29 and I'm just extremely blessed.
06:30 I knew it was going to happen, but I knew it was like
06:33 a matter of time it was going to happen.
06:35 All right, we got another one from Logan on Zoom.
06:39 Hey, Trey, I know you probably heard
06:41 from a lot of teams so far,
06:42 but who have been kind of in contact with you
06:45 the most throughout this process?
06:47 I've been talking to the Vikings, the Cowboys.
06:52 It's a couple teams of names.
06:54 The Browns, the Eagles,
06:57 Packers, the Raiders, and it's a lot more.
07:03 So, you know, I'm just blessed to be talking to those teams
07:06 because that's what I dreamed about growing up,
07:09 but, yes, it's a lot of those teams.
07:12 All right, we'll go back to Ira on your right.
07:14 Have you decided what you're going to do on Friday,
07:16 and what do you want to get out of that pro day experience?
07:20 You know, just support my teammates,
07:21 you know, just being around them,
07:23 because I know they missed that, you know,
07:25 because at the combine, you know,
07:26 I wasn't really around most of them
07:28 because I was on the running back,
07:30 and we was just working our running back,
07:31 so me seeing Keyon, Johnny, Jaheim,
07:35 just, you know, just being around them and supporting them,
07:37 but as of right now, I'm doing bench for sure.
07:41 Anything else for Trey?
07:42 Not trying to jinx it, but do you have a number in mind
07:47 that you want to do on the bench?
07:49 I don't have a number in mind.
07:50 All right, just do it as many times.
07:51 As many times as I can.
07:53 We'll end with one more from Logan on Zoom.
07:59 Trey, what have you seen in this running back room
08:04 going into this 2024 season?
08:06 You played with a few of these guys last year,
08:08 but maybe some of the younger guys, too,
08:10 with Cam Davis, who you had brought on
08:12 for a lot of visits and such.
08:13 What do you see in this room going into next season?
08:15 Cam Davis, he don't need to lift no more weights.
08:17 He good.
08:19 He look like he's been in this program
08:22 for over four years already.
08:23 He already built by storms.
08:24 He good.
08:25 He don't need to touch no more weights.
08:27 But, you know, that's my guy, though.
08:28 You know, seeing him, I was out there yesterday
08:29 with the guys, and Kaziah, LT, Sam Singleton.
08:34 I just miss being out there with the guys,
08:38 and, you know, they just going to pick up where I left off.
08:40 And I know LT, he's the leader of that room,
08:43 and him and Rodale and Kaziah.
08:45 I'm just ready to see what those guys can do.
08:48 All right. Thank you, Trey.
08:50 Appreciate you.
08:51 Thank y'all.
