00:00 BTV is now reporting that a woman was arrested for the alleged buy-bust operation of PDEA and PNP in Mandawin City, Cebu yesterday.
00:11 According to the investigation, the suspect is a high-profile drug personality who sells 2 to 3 kilos of shabu every week.
00:20 He is also included in the PNP and PDEA Region 7's drug watch list.
00:24 He was charged with buying more than 3 kilos of shabu worth Php 20,740,000.
00:32 The suspect plans to distribute the shabu to Mandawi, Lapu-Lapu and Cebu City.
00:37 The total number of firework-related injuries reported by the Department of Health during the past holiday season is now more than 600.
00:48 In the latest bulletin released for the Surveillance Year 2023, some new cases were added between January 5 and 6, 2024.
00:59 Of the 609 total, 601 were due to explosions, 1 were hit by a Wato C bomb, while 7 were hit by a Ligao bullet.
01:09 52% of the incidents were reported in Metro Manila, which was followed by Ilocos Region with 10% and Calabarzon with 8%.
01:18 Meanwhile, there are still several cases that are being confirmed by the DOH with the help of PNP.
