00:00As the days go on, both sides take turns in hurling accusations at each other.

00:06This time around, it's the Philippine National Police or PNP's turn as claimed a member of the

00:10King of Jesus Christ or KOJC aimed a laser pointer at the PNP's chopper as it hovered above the KOJC

00:18compound which was denied by the religious camps group. Regine Lanusa of PTV Davao tells us more.

00:24The PNP's Region 11 office or PRU 11 condemns the laser pointing incident at the PNP helicopter

00:35that monitors the Kingdom of Jesus Christ or KOJC compound. Police Lieutenant Colonel

00:40Jarek Filosofos, spokesperson of PRU 11 said the act was committed by a member of KOJC

00:46and reported by the pilot afterwards. Based on the report, the helicopter pilot claims

00:52high-resolution lasers were pointed at them by members of KOJC. Apparently, this dangerous act

00:59or stunt by a KOJC faithful could seriously distract a pilot's focus while maneuvering

01:05in the air and put him or her at risk if the glare hits the eyes directly.

01:22In the general public, could you imagine if that helicopter

01:27obstructs the pilot's view if it falls? Meanwhile, in a Facebook post of KOJC legal council

01:34attorney Israelito Torreon, he weighed in on the alleged incident. Attorney Torreon said that the

01:39PNP has to prove whether the laser emanated from the KOJC members because there are hundreds of

01:45police and other people in the area. He also said it is possible the laser pointing incident

01:51was by PNP cops deployed inside the compound. He added the PNP was quick to complain about

01:58the incident without mentioning the extent of their actions inside the KOJC compound.

02:03In spite of this, the PNP will conduct an investigation and file appropriate charges.
