00:00 So coming here, how's the week been? Has it been what you expected?
00:02 Yeah, it's been absolutely amazing. I love the competition. It's been so fun. I love to compete.
00:07 I'm happy I get to show what I can do and actually show people that I can compete and I'm gonna come in and make a huge difference.
00:12 So, you know, you mentioned that competition, getting to play a lot of the top players. What was that experience like?
00:18 It was really good. It was time for me to show who I am in front of everyone.
00:21 I feel like everyone finally got to know who I am as a person and as a player.
00:24 So it's nice that I finally do that and get to be in this environment and show off what I can do.
00:29 I saw you win some reps against some really high recruits. How did that feel? What allowed you to be successful there?
00:34 I feel like just the way I work, even though I haven't been playing the sport for long, I've only been playing for like a year and nine months.
00:41 I'm still performing. I'm still repping out as much as I can. I'm out here after every single practice doing more by myself
00:48 because even though I haven't been playing long, the more you rep it out, the more you do it, the more you get better at it.
00:52 So me going up against these guys, just competition and my mindset will never stop me from keep on getting better and better and better.
00:58 I've only been playing for a year and a half, so my ceiling is high. I still have a lot to learn. I still have a lot to take in.
01:03 So you know, winning some of those reps, did that give you confidence heading into your time at OU?
01:07 I already had confidence coming into OU. I already knew what I was going to do, but it was just time for everyone else to see what I can do.
01:12 And so how has your relationship grown with some of your future teammates this week?
01:15 Oh, amazing. Me, Vaughn, I've been sleeping over in each other's rooms, watching film.
01:22 And David Stone, Brooks, all of us have been watching film together every single night, so it's been a fun experience.
01:27 And are you excited to get to play in the game tomorrow?
01:29 Oh yes, I can't wait. It's going to be an absolutely amazing experience from the UK all the way across the pond to play in the UA All-American game.
01:35 It should be all-world now because I'm in it.
01:37 How have people reacted to you, again, you said being all-world, you know, not being from America. How has that reaction been for your teammates?
01:43 Oh, it's been crazy. Like, I didn't expect the love. Everyone loves it.
01:46 They're always coming to me, "Oh my God, you're the guy from the UK. What a man."
01:49 And then they say UK slang to me, so it's amazing. It's fun to have that environment and I think they love that the sport's growing across the pond.
01:55 department. Alright last question favorite UK rapper? Favorite UK rapper
01:58 would be Dave.
