00:00 So I talked to you a week ago after you signed, and now you've got a week to let it sit in. How do you feel?
00:06 I'm feeling even more ready. I get to see my boys on campus working hard, and it only inspires me more.
00:12 I'm going harder so they don't get too far ahead of me.
00:16 It's all currently compensated at the end of the day. I love all my boys.
00:20 The guys that are here with me right now, it's good playing with them and seeing what they can do, what they can't do.
00:26 We can only get better from here. We all learn something at the end of the day. It's only going to get us better.
00:31 You talked about being here. I saw today that you were really hyped up from some of those reps.
00:36 You had a great day. How did that feel, going against some top-tier competition and still having that same success?
00:42 It's only evidence for me. It only proves what I can do and my capabilities.
00:47 I've been true to myself. I know what I could do and what I can't do.
00:52 I know why I need to get better and what I'm great at. It's only able to keep me going, to take advantage of the opportunities at hand.
01:00 I know the O-linemen, what their weaknesses are, and I know my advantages.
01:04 If I execute at a high level, I'm going to watch them win.
01:07 You said you know their strengths and their weaknesses. Does that come from film study? How do you learn something from that?
01:14 I'm watching everything everyone's doing.
01:17 One of the first things I was taught was to take multiple reps and be a visual learner first.
01:22 My freshman year, I didn't get as many reps as I wanted to.
01:25 The coach was always telling me to watch with your eyes and visualize reps ahead.
01:29 That's always what I do. I see everything before it happens.
01:32 I always try to come with a plan in mind. I try to envision it before it happens.
01:36 I saw that you were getting really hyped up. Fans are going to love to see stuff like that.
01:40 Is that you all the time? What kind of fuels you in that way?
01:44 It's all the time. I told the coach, "I want to conserve your reps. I want to cut you down some. I got to preserve you for college."
01:51 I told him, "Coach, I wouldn't be here if I didn't love football. I want to be in all the time. I want to take every rep possible."
01:56 I told him, "Leave me in the game. Leave me in the practice reps. I know it's practice, but I'm going to treat it like a game all the time."
02:01 It's my product. You only get out what you put in. I want to get the best out of it.
02:06 Getting to see some of your future teammates on the opposing side, on the offensive line, in those drills.
02:11 They had a pretty good day, too. What does it feel like getting to see them succeed?
02:15 It only makes me excited for the future. I told Eugene, "Man, you're doing good. You're making me better.
02:22 You're fighting hard. You're pushing. Knock me off balance some, but I'm going to fight back always."
02:26 I told him, "You can't be helping out the center from Texas. You're making him look good, too, on the double teams."
02:32 Now it's all just friendly banner at the end of the day. I love those guys. They're only going to make me better.
02:37 As we go in the future, I hope we can keep the relationship we have.
02:40 What is it like getting to play with some guys that in college you will have to face, play against in the conference?
02:46 I can only hope to see the moment when it comes to the game. I can remember those days.
02:54 We can just keep chatting it up after the game. It's all a big family thing today.
02:59 It's a sport that we love to do. We build relationships here on the field, whether it be good or bad.
03:05 And I hope to build a relationship with everyone I meet, and
03:07 that's what I've been doing so far.
