00:00 So getting out here, how does it feel to be out here with the other All-Americans?
00:03 Man, great man, great time to come out here and compete and just you know work on my game.
00:07 How does it feel to be out here with some other guys that you're gonna play with at OU?
00:10 Oh man, great man, it's fun to be out here man. It's just like you know pre-dorm life that we get,
00:15 you know get to experience in college together. You know we hanging out with each other here in
00:20 the hotel just getting to know each other and just getting to know each other on the field and it's
00:23 just it's fun and fun experience to be with those guys.
00:26 So for fans who might not have seen you play until now, what would you say that the
00:29 strongest part of your game is? What are your strengths?
00:31 Man, just IQ, just being where I'm supposed to be man. Just really focused on you know the mental
00:36 game of the sport and just you know just always trying to be one step ahead and then the next
00:42 just you know my team. I'm bringing my guys together, we always gonna be on the same page.
00:45 So just like I said my mindset and just my IQ on that field.
00:48 So you know on you know kind of an OU subject, what's your relationship like with Brennan Van
00:53 DeMolt, Brandon Hall, those guys?
00:55 Oh man, great, great. You know going down there this week, I was down there for the
00:59 bowl game. Just being able to get into practice and in the film room with them and just you know
01:04 starting that process up early and just letting them get to know what type of player I am and
01:08 just the relationship that we are building and you know that we already had throughout high school.
01:11 It's just as strong as that they believed it to be.
01:14 What was it like getting to work with some of your future teammates that you know are
01:17 already on the team now that you're doing bowl prep?
01:19 Oh man, that was a great experience too man. Just you seeing us going out there you know just like
01:24 I said just another time to be you know pre-hotel, just pre-dorm life. Being able to watch film
01:29 together, you know study together and just talk about things that we've seen and just
01:33 you know just pick apart each other's minds and just see how we can become better and
01:36 be better as a team was just you know like just great for us.
01:38 Do you know who your roommate's gonna be at OU yet?
01:40 Oh yes sir, Eli Bowen.
01:42 Cool, and then I saw you get a few picks out there on scout team today. Take that to the
01:46 house. I saw you celebrating with David Stone, your future teammate. Did that kind of feel
01:49 like you know a glimpse into the future almost?
01:52 Oh yeah, it felt natural.
01:53 What's it like getting to play with a guy like that on the defensive line?
01:56 Oh man, it's great. I played with him at IMG and you know it really it shows you how much
02:01 a D-line can benefit you and especially guys like that that's so dominant up front. You
02:06 know I only got to sit back there and cover for two seconds so you know I love that for
02:09 me so.
02:10 How's it like being here in Orlando?
02:13 Oh man, it's nice you know. They put us in a nice resort. It's a good environment. I
02:18 love the weather out here.
