00:00 >> They respond to the nutrition, I guess, around the sauce.
00:04 I saw their boat video, they had a good time with the yacht last night.
00:08 But our guys in that Avis morning, well, we had good practice the other day.
00:11 And I think a lot of excitement because we got a lot of guys that's a good way to
00:15 handle their excitement.
00:16 They're excited about the opportunity.
00:18 They've been waiting patiently to show that they've been able to practice the other
00:22 day.
00:23 >> They're a different energy, better energy to practice yesterday as opposed to
00:27 once before, question is for you.
00:30 >> I think coming back down south, we'll get a lot of guys from this area.
00:34 So you do kind of see that little perkiness.
00:36 But I think overall, I think guys are just anxious to show what they can do.
00:41 We got guys and all of them feel like they should be the guy now.
00:44 We got a confident coach.
00:46 So they're all like, man, this is my time to show what I can do,
00:48 what I'm trying to tell the coaches anyway.
00:50 So it's gonna be fun for those guys if they get to go out there and
00:53 have a good time with this way.
00:54 >> What did you have to do to have all your guys show up?
00:58 You got your whole squad.
01:00 >> That's why.
01:02 No, man, it's good to have those guys speak to how do you wanna finish this thing,
01:06 things like that.
01:07 I think our guys, it's a little bit different.
01:10 I think Maurice may have just made some of those guys in that room,
01:15 it's probably great.
01:15 No, I'm not.
01:16 But I think I'm excited for those guys.
01:18 I'm glad they got to get in the play and see what's gonna happen.
01:22 >> And those people that make more money,
01:23 they're supposed to figure these things out.
01:24 But I mean, is there gonna be a change to the college football postseason in
01:29 the way players opt out and they need to be compensated for
01:34 playing these bowl games that aren't playoff games?
01:37 I guess I'm getting a solution.
01:38 Do you think there's issues to how college football's postseason is being kind of
01:41 played out nowadays?
01:42 >> No, I don't think there's an issue.
01:44 I mean, we got individuals making choices for their individualism.
01:48 But the team, of course, David Moran, the team is here to perform.
01:52 And it also kind of gives you a preview of what's to come.
01:54 Also, you got to get little glitches, I mean,
01:56 little flash of what's to come in the future.
01:58 So I think it's an exciting moment for the guys that are here.
02:01 >> If you look at Georgia's defense, what stands out to you?
02:06 >> Just the soundness, you know what I mean?
02:08 They're very, very detailed, fundamental.
02:10 You watch them up front, they use the same technique when they're using their hands,
02:13 and peeking and playing the gap and have leverage and things of that nature.
02:16 And also, the discipline they play with,
02:19 they always try to be lined up perfectly and lined up correctly.
02:22 And also, the way they fly around, make these cut-ups,
02:25 miss tackling things and find who to attack.
02:28 It's hard to find when they got some good tackles,
02:30 good guys that know how to leverage the football and get them out.
02:33 >> Is there one guy who's a game-breaker or is it kind of a team?
02:38 >> Yeah, no, I mean, you got Mikel, 13, young defensive end,
02:41 who's a really good player.
02:42 You have a pass rush on the left,
02:44 and he can really get out through your third down situation.
02:46 I mean, they play a smooth attack, you know?
02:49 They got two of the best safeties in the country, that's very clear.
02:53 And so, just the way the defense is built,
02:57 there's not many holes or leverages you can attack because you got both safeties.
03:01 You can attack and play both, whether it be field or boundary.
03:04 And you got to be able to supply them, you got to smother them,
03:06 you got to keep them in tight so they can leverage the football.
03:08 A lot of that three-down stuff is just going on the edges.
03:11 So, you got to make sure you present some difficulties and problems,
03:15 information, things like that, and find a way to attack on the other side.
03:19 >> How does this game give you a chance to kind of get in your bag a little bit,
03:23 and put some things in that maybe people haven't seen?
03:26 >> I think in bold prep, everybody always gonna have something new.
03:29 You're gonna have something you wanna come out with and show.
03:31 At the end of the day, your identity is already set.
03:33 You play 13 games, so pretty much going into the game,
03:36 you're officially gonna be coming home with the offense.
03:40 So I think it's gonna be fun to have the recourse, fun to practice,
03:42 but at the end, you gotta establish an identity.
03:44 It's gonna come down to who's tackling, who's blocking, and
03:47 who's not basically giving the game away.
03:48 A lot of these games come down to the overall preparation,
03:51 who's not gonna lose the game.
03:53 So we still gotta be disciplined, attacking football, winning the football,
03:55 make sure we have the ball, security, and things of that nature.
03:57 But that's really what it's gonna come down to at the end of the game,
04:00 against those tight games at the end.
