00:00 I've been operating for about 6-7 years from home and then this space came up and took
00:12 the leap so it's a nice in between, between home and obviously a shop front.
00:16 It's brilliant being in the city centre, having a retail space for a change and having that
00:23 separation between home and work is really good.
00:26 I actually started in year 10, we had a business entrepreneurial class and we had a businessman
00:32 from Burnie come down and speak to us mobile time through the year and he actually put
00:37 up $100 if we would run a business plan and start a business.
00:42 And so one of my mates was fixing phones at the time and I had a look and went that's
00:47 really cool and there must be money in it because there's shops doing it.
00:51 So started off with him, started on YouTube, went from there, I pulled apart hundreds of
00:57 phones, broke many along the way and from there that's where Dr Device was born and
01:04 it only grew from there, started with families, phones, went on, yeah, lots of experience
01:12 and then just fixing phones through YouTube before going on to doing more formal training.
01:18 Pretty much anything to do with mobile phones, tablets and even some laptops.
01:24 So that can be screens, batteries, cameras, right through to more high level repairs as
01:31 well as all kinds of mobile device accessories but also buying and selling.
01:38 So if someone comes in and decides not to repair their phone, I always offer to purchase
01:44 it for a trading price and then we refurbish as well, so then offer those refurbished devices
01:51 to customers as well.
