00:00 - Your one felt like you thought it would
00:01 in terms of college football,
00:02 or was there anything that surprised you about this?
00:05 - Nothing too surprising.
00:07 I expected it to be hard at first, and it was.
00:09 And once you get adjusted to everything, though,
00:11 everything kind of starts clicking
00:12 and it all comes together.
00:14 It's a lot like high school was, honestly, at first.
00:15 You kind of have to get in,
00:16 learn your teammates and everything,
00:18 but once you get it down, it goes by pretty quick.
00:20 - What were the most difficult parts?
00:21 And maybe you said it kind of got easier.
00:23 Was there a moment or something where something clicked,
00:25 or is it just gradual?
00:27 - It was really just adjusting to being with a new team.
00:29 You know, when you're at home,
00:30 you have all your people that you're good with,
00:32 all your teammates that you're connected with,
00:33 and then here you have to regrow all those relationships.
00:36 Once you kind of get good with the teammates and everything,
00:38 and then the coaching and all that football stuff's
00:39 gonna fall into place.
00:40 So really for me, it was just, you know,
00:42 getting good with my guys first.
00:44 - Learn from some other guys in the position group.
00:45 What have been some of the takeaways?
00:47 What have you learned from some of the older guys?
00:49 - Bucky. Bucky's been big.
00:50 He's showed me a lot about just how to carry yourself
00:52 off the field, you know, what times to come in,
00:54 when to work on your body, all that stuff.
00:56 And then Noah and Jordan and Bucky, obviously.
00:59 They've all shown me on the field,
01:00 just little tips and things that help them
01:02 like learn everything.
01:03 And so they've been really big in my growth here
01:05 since I've been here.
01:07 - How important are these bowl practices?
01:09 You know, not every team gets to practice right now.
01:11 How important are these for you?
01:12 - For me, they're huge.
01:13 Honestly, I feel like I've grown a lot
01:15 just in the last week of practice that we've had.
01:18 And it's been interesting 'cause you see the team
01:19 obviously starts to shrink,
01:21 and so you get a lot more reps.
01:22 And so for me, it's been great.
01:23 I've been able to learn a lot.
01:24 And just with a week, I already feel myself getting better.
01:27 So it's been great.
01:28 - The team could have shrunk more,
01:29 but Bucky is playing in this game.
01:30 What does it say about him doing that?
01:32 And kind of, you can mention it a little bit,
01:34 but what does it mean playing behind a guy like him?
01:38 - It just shows he's a competitor, honestly.
01:39 Like that's all it really comes down to.
01:41 And playing behind him has been amazing.
01:43 You know, I watch everything he does,
01:44 try to do what he does and get on the,
01:46 have the opportunity that he had in front of him.
