00:00 >> You're credited with the sack on your brother in that game,
00:02 has that come up since?
00:04 >> Yeah, I mean, we've been talking about it.
00:06 I kind of talked to Max more about it before the game, and then I got it.
00:11 That was like, I used to joke around growing up and be like, that was my,
00:15 like if I had one goal I was gonna do, like have in football, I was gonna be sack my brother.
00:19 >> What was that entire experience, the whole game day,
00:23 meeting up with him on the field after the game, what was that experience like for you?
00:26 >> I mean, I try not to think about it.
00:28 Like I don't wanna put my personal goals first, so I was trying not to think about
00:33 it, but it's like you can't really not think about it, like I'm on the field and
00:37 I'm seeing a warm up, I'm just thinking I'm about to play my brother.
00:40 I don't think I've ever been that excited to play a game.
00:43 >> What was that moment like at the end of the game when you guys were able to meet up
00:47 after the game and probably could put the, preparing for the game behind you and
00:50 just kind of focus on that moment?
00:52 >> Yeah, we were talking a little bit like in the beginning of the week, and
00:56 then I was just jokingly like, all right, stop texting me.
00:59 I don't wanna talk to you no more.
01:00 I'll see you on the game day.
01:02 And then he texted me like right before the game.
01:05 He just said he wanted just to pray after.
01:08 And I was, just stuff like that, it kind of just shows me what kind of person my
01:12 brother is and just helps me to live up to him.
01:16 >> What's been that experience like this whole year?
01:18 Cuz he's come to games, he's been in the stands.
01:21 >> Yeah. >> Watching you play,
01:22 just how unique has it been for you,
01:23 just your personal development as a first year college fan?
01:26 >> I mean, it's super dope.
01:28 I mean, he's been a mentor for me just in my recruiting process and
01:34 just me as a person.
01:35 But it was never planned for him to, I mean, him going to the college,
01:40 I always thought he was gonna be out in three, first round pick, first pick.
01:45 But God has a different plan sometimes.
01:47 So I came here and it wasn't even planned for him to go there, but
01:52 that just ended up being the best situation.
01:56 Just us being here, it was pretty cool just hanging out with him.
02:00 >> Obviously, you played a really big role for
02:01 this team this year, more than most kind of true freshmen do.
02:04 Just what has this experience been like?
02:05 And did you have kind of a moment throughout the year where it kind of
02:08 clicked and you felt like things were really working for you?
02:10 >> I mean, I think it's been like an honor, you know what I'm saying?
02:18 Just to have the coaches believe in me enough to put me in.
02:22 And plug in important roles, but I mean,
02:26 I think I give a lot of credit to the older guys in the room.
02:31 Like Mason and Shippy and Marlon and then guys like Edy and Virch.
02:38 Even just kind of all the older guys to guide me through.
