How should TFL spend £250m in government funding? Londoners have their say

We asked Londoners how Transport for London should spend the £250m in government funding.

00:00 TfL have just been given £250 million to spend, what would you like to see TfL spend that money on?

00:08 Probably on faster rail services, so for example we've got quite a quick rail service from Croydon to central Victoria

00:21 so maybe increasing the amount of trains that they have from outside of zone 5, zone 6 into the central line

00:30 maybe that could potentially help a lot of people outside of those zones because of Ules and all that stuff

00:37 it could help them travel into London a lot more easier, that could be it

00:43 There's not a lot you can improve because I feel like we can say "I wish it could be faster" and all of those things, sorry

00:49 but when you live in the city it's really hard to work on things like traffic or maybe frequency of buses

01:00 because I feel like it's pretty good to be honest and I think the more we travel outside of London the more we really appreciate TfL

01:07 but I don't know, it's really really difficult to find one thing

01:12 When it works it's perfect but obviously there are a lot of strikes, a lot of delays and things like that

01:19 which again I can't really comment on because obviously if you work there then if you need to strike you need to strike

01:28 I think the buses are good, the buses are really regular but the tubes aren't too bad

01:38 so I guess just trying to get the engineering works down and the delays and all that

01:47 I would like them to extend the underground, I'd like them to put a station in Camberwell

01:56 there's a big gap between the Elephant and Castle and Denmark Hill

02:00 so either reopen the old Camberwell station or extend the Northern line or the Bakerloo line or the Victoria line to Camberwell

02:08 And other than that how do you feel about the TfL services?

02:11 I think they're really really good, I don't want them to close stations or get rid of staff

02:16 I think it's really good to keep staff but yeah I think they're pretty good
