After the implementation of the ULEZ expansion, we ask just how good London bus routes are further out of the capital?

00:00 There's been talk about outer boroughs having a lack of bus routes and stuff like that.
00:04 Do you feel like that's the case here? Do you think there are enough bus routes going
00:07 to different places?
00:09 Me personally, I feel like when I take public transport, there's plenty of bus routes. I
00:14 think that's the one best thing about London is that they have built such a great infrastructure
00:18 with the TfL and I feel like with buses, trains, trams even in Croydon, I think there's plenty
00:24 of ways for people to get from A to B across London.
00:27 Would you say that's the case for boroughs that are slightly outside of London as well
00:31 like this one? Do you still think that you're still well connected here?
00:34 This one, yeah, for me I feel like it is. For example, the bus over there, the 450,
00:40 it takes you from either Croydon to Lewisham which is quite a fair distance so I don't
00:46 really have any complaints about that, me personally.
00:50 I think South London can be quite good for its buses, we're quite well known for it,
00:54 but it is quite hard to jump between places. I live in Crystal Palace and getting anywhere
01:01 is about a 30 minute journey and it absolutely should not be because driving is like 12.
01:06 I have been on a bus, actually I went on a bus in March when we came back from seeing
01:12 Abbot Voyage and they were fine, Easy Bus to Brixton, Easy Bus back, so I have to say
01:18 I can't really answer it. As far as I'm aware, they've been fine but I don't use it often
01:22 enough to really comment.
01:23 No, I think they're very good, excellent in fact, a lot better than they used to be.
01:29 How would you compare them to how they used to be?
01:31 100% better.
01:32 If there's anything about public transport and buses that you could improve, what would
01:37 it be?
01:39 Probably more routes like the Superloop ones that have just been introduced, so that one
01:43 gets me to work in the morning which is really helpful.
01:45 And where do you go for that?
01:47 Waterloo.
01:48 Amazing, and how long does that take to get through?
01:51 About 45 minutes on a good day.
01:53 So it's actually quicker than getting a train and things like that are really helpful.
01:56 I used to use the X26 to get to university from Croydon to Kingston and that was ideal.
