00:00 How was your visit here?
00:02 >> It was great, man.
00:03 Everything I looked forward to.
00:04 Coach Milley's a great dude.
00:06 He's a great guy.
00:07 Coach Tony Mann, program coach.
00:10 Great guys, coach Adkins.
00:12 Real stand up guys, real genuine dudes, you can tell.
00:14 And to me what they say, real transparent.
00:16 >> Who's your guy?
00:18 >> Your guy has a ton of experience in the college game.
00:21 You've been at two institutions.
00:22 So when you came on this visit, what is it that you want to know about FSU,
00:25 learn about FSU, and find out about how they operate as a football team?
00:28 >> Yeah, I think FSU first of all, they have a rich heritage, rich legacy.
00:32 I mean, they have countless endless players that have been here.
00:35 I mean, I think the legacy here of Florida State speaking.
00:37 So it's not, if it's the best, it's not one of the best legacy we've had here
00:42 in college football, being Florida State.
00:43 So for me, man, it's been an honor just being able to be here.
00:46 Be able to talk to the coaches, be able to be here, just talk to some of the players.
00:49 Be able to be on campus, man.
00:51 So for me, man, it's been a great honor to be able to come here to Florida State.
00:54 And all the questions I had, man, they've been answered.
00:57 One of them, man, it's a great program.
01:00 I think my coach, Morvelle, has done a great job.
01:02 I think they did a great job on offense.
01:04 Just the way they executed this year being 13-0, man, it's tough.
01:08 How that ended for them, but then I'm losing season, man.
01:10 It was good for me to see just how they get down, how they run the ship.
01:14 They did a good job.
01:15 >> Did you wanna learn how to frame trust of Coach Morvelle, Coach Topaz,
01:18 Coach Atkins in the offense with the quarterback works?
01:21 What did you learn about that?
01:22 And what did you take away from those conversations?
01:24 >> Yeah, no, they know what they're doing.
01:26 I think that's the biggest thing for me, man.
01:27 They know football.
01:29 They know the XMLs, they know Ski.
01:31 Me and them, they're great people as well.
01:33 But yeah, I just wanna sit down and talk to them face to face.
01:37 I'll talk to them over the phone, talk to Coach Morvelle over the phone.
01:40 But just being able to talk to them face to face,
01:43 ask them different questions I had about the offense, just about everything.
01:47 Some questions I've had, it was good, man.
01:49 It was good to be able to talk to them and just speak with them, it was good.
01:53 >> You feel like it's an offense that fits you and your skillset?
01:55 >> Yeah, 100%, for me, man, I wouldn't have come here if I didn't do this.
02:01 There's a reason why I'm here, and a reason why I like it here in the state.
02:04 I'm glad to be here.
02:07 >> You did, you had your home season going on with this offense in general.
02:11 And what did they do that you can learn about something as far as offense?
02:15 >> Yeah, pushed the wall down the field.
02:17 They got playmakers outside, have a great offensive line.
02:20 And they score a lot of points, man.
02:22 For me, man, my biggest thing is I wanna continue to keep getting developed as
02:26 a quarterback.
02:27 I wanna continue to keep getting developed.
02:29 There's a lot of things I wanna be able to continue to get better at and
02:31 learn from.
02:32 I feel like under Coach Lundell, a lot of coaches here,
02:34 they didn't do that.
02:35 They take my game to the next level and just continue to get me developed and
02:38 continue progressing.
02:40 >> How much do you watch on the Jordan Travis's progression,
02:43 through the offense to learn what you can do over here as well?
02:46 >> I think he's done a great job, man.
02:47 I think from his transition from the first guy here to now, he's great.
02:50 I think Jordan Travis is a great player.
02:52 I think the last two years, you can tell that he's been on fire.
02:55 They've done a really good job of developing Jordan Travis and
02:57 becoming a great player that he was, man.
02:59 I think he finished fifth in the Heisman Golden this year.
03:02 And he didn't even finish out the season.
03:03 I think that's what you call it, the way they run a quarterback here and
03:07 how well they run the offense here.
03:09 >> So where are you in your decision making process?
03:12 How long do you think it's gonna play out before you make a decision on where you're
03:15 gonna transfer to?
03:17 >> For me, I have no clue.
03:18 For me, I'm just taking it day by day.
03:21 For me, I think he'll let that decide for me, man.
03:24 And I'm just taking it day by day, man.
03:26 I'm keeping that close to my family.
03:28 But no, I definitely like Florida State a lot.
03:30 They did an unbelievable job.
03:31 I'm thankful for the opportunity from Coach Nadell to bring me in here.
03:34 And it was a great weekend.
03:36 >> Have you talked to Jordan at all?
03:38 >> Yeah, I talked to him on the phone.
03:39 Yeah, I talked to him on the phone before I came here.
03:42 He's a great dude, man.
03:43 Great person, great player.
03:45 He said great things about Florida State.
03:47 Everybody I've talked to has said good things about Florida State.
03:50 And then when I came here, I mean, that's all I saw,
03:52 was these great things about the program, about the coaches,
03:55 how they run the program.
03:56 You can tell, man, these guys, you mean what they're saying.
03:59 You can tell that's what I'm talking about.
04:02 >> Any other busy points, any other locations you're hanging out?
04:06 >> Right now, I'm just going home and figuring that out.
04:08 So, everybody good, man?
