00:00 >> Jordan was just talking about how much he watches that film from Washington.
00:03 Since that happened, how often have you thought about that loss since it happened?
00:08 >> I mean, I think everybody at this organization has probably thought about
00:11 it every day.
00:12 It's not something that clears from your mind really quick.
00:16 Yeah, I mean, we strive for perfection, strive to reach a lot of goals, and
00:22 that was just a big hiccup in our road.
00:24 So yeah, it's definitely something we remember.
00:28 But yeah, you gotta look at that film even as much as you don't want to,
00:31 just to learn from your mistakes and improve week by week.
00:36 So yeah, I think a lot of guys have taken pride in just getting better week by
00:41 week from that week, and yeah, looking to make some changes and
00:46 excel coming into this one.
00:47 >> How do you feel like this defense has improved since that game?
00:53 >> Probably just in our discipline, majorly just
00:57 having everybody doing their job and trusting that their job is gonna be enough.
01:01 Cuz I feel like during that game, a lot of people, I mean,
01:06 myself included, are just trying to do too much, just hype for the moment.
01:10 And trying to do ten jobs at once when really if you just do your job,
01:15 the whole defense will work out.
01:16 So yeah, I think a lot of guys have just bought into doing their 111th,
01:21 and as a whole, our defense has taken off.
01:25 And we're hoping to keep that streak going, going into this one.
01:29 >> A couple of close touchdowns that gave up in that game were,
01:32 looked like some miscommunication issues, there's a leverage one.
01:34 >> Sure. >> And there's a different one on
01:37 bubble coverage that got a little messed up.
01:38 Do you think it was communication?
01:40 Do you think it was just guys trying to do too much?
01:43 Where's communication improved on this defense in secondary, particularly?
01:46 >> Yeah, for sure, I mean, communication has improved tremendously.
01:50 And I mean, also give credit to them.
01:52 They got some great 50/50 guys that'll go up and
01:55 get the ball anytime you make a mistake.
01:57 But yeah, just getting sign and co-sign is something we say.
02:02 Getting signals on film, making sure everybody knows,
02:06 or is just on the same page.
02:10 Just cuz if we're all wrong, we're all right.
02:12 You can't have a perfect call for any situation, but
02:15 if everybody's playing the same thing, you're in a pretty good situation.
02:19 So yeah, definitely, I think we've improved in that area too.
02:24 Just communicating throughout the defense, you'll see in our past few games,
02:28 a lot of guys are just making sure everybody gets a call from the far corner.
02:32 So backers screaming it throughout the defense, and
02:36 I think that's led us to play more as a unit, for sure.
