00:06 Thousands of people travelled from far and wide to see the annual Christmas Switch-On in Valentine's Meadow, Cotton, from Mark and Nicola Tipping and their children.
00:13 Valentine's Meadow was awash with all things festive on Sunday, as Father Christmas, Lightning McQueen, Ghostbusters and Brainy Bear all made a special appearance at the annual Switch-On for charity.
00:23 For over a decade, Mark and Nicola Tipping and their three boys, Sam, Joe and Isaac, have put on a magnificent Christmas lights display to bring a smile to the faces of city families, as well as raising tens of thousands of pounds for charity.
00:35 This year's were houred once more when the Christmas lights were switched on. There was also a fireworks display and stalls with live music, food, drinks and a tombola.
00:44 A Lancashire police officer is facing a misconduct investigation after a man he had contact with ended up dead. An inquest into the death of Dylan McEwan, also known as Dylan Smith, was adjourned pending the outcome of a possible police misconduct hearing.
00:58 Blackpool coroner Alan Wilson heard the 24-year-old died from hanging at an address in Blackpool on June 23rd this year. Scant details of the case were revealed in court by the coroner, who said an inquest date would be fixed after the outcome of the police inquiry.
01:13 Plans to transform a vacant Wigan Council office building into a business hub for start-ups now includes a gym, cinema room, cafe and rooftop terrace.
01:23 The Civic Centre on Millgate has long been surplus to requirements for Wigan Council, following the revamp of the Town Hall and the Life Centre.
01:30 Plans put forward by Council contractor Capital & Centric include incubator spaces for start-ups, co-working and small businesses, coffee shops, outdoor hangout areas and a roof garden.

02:41 The Burnley Express and Leader Times revealed on November 13th that the Grade II Lyttard Hall had finally been sold after several years of sitting empty and falling into disrepair.
02:51 They have since discovered that the new owner is New Hay, Rochdale-based Little Ford Langroyd Ltd. Director Mr John Stoner, has been involved in various hospitality businesses in the Rochdale area.
03:02 He is currently a director of the Medicine Tap Bar and Restaurant based in the beautiful Grade II List former post office in Rochdale Town Centre.
03:09 Company House also has Mr Stoner listed as a director of the Posh Pig Pork Company and a former director of Mighty Medicine Brewing Company.
03:17 Langroyd Hall closed several years ago to the chagrin of scores of local residents who had fond memories of its time as a carvery and wedding venue.
