00:00 Hi, I'm digital reporter Amy Seddon, bringing you the latest news from across the North West.
00:05 Over the weekend, an underwater search team recovered a body from Preston docks in the search for a missing man.
00:11 Officers were called to Britannia Drive in Ashton-on-Ribble at 2.37pm on Friday, September 8th, after being notified a body had been found by the search team.
00:20 Whilst the body has not been formally identified, a Lancashire Police spokesman said it was believed to be Stephen Walpole, 57, of Ashton-on-Ribble.
00:27 Mr Walpole had been reported as missing and had last been seen on the evening of September 3rd.
00:32 In Blackpool, the final credits have officially rolled on movie watching at the former Odeon Cinema, after bulldozers have moved in.
00:39 All the screens from the 10-screen multiplex on Rigby Road have now been removed, along with seating and interior walls, as part of a 10-week project to rip out the interior of the building.
00:48 Once work has been completed, just the shell will be left of the once-bustling venue, which closed as a cinema in June when the lease came to an end.
00:55 A new Lancaster coffee shop offers a fresh approach.
00:59 Cornfalls Carrington Coffee Company have branched out with the imminent opening of a new coffee shop in Hestbank, just a stone's throw from the towpath of Lancaster Canal, on the inside of the Shores of Morecambe Bay.
01:10 Called Bold, the shop at 2B Station Road will be open at times aimed at appealing to early-morning walkers and workers looking for a quality coffee to go.
01:18 Co-founders Susie and Alex Carrington say they are confident the combination of mouth-watering cakes and locally roasted coffee will prove irresistible.
01:27 An organised crime group, which conspired to run a high-value car theft and burglary ring, have been jailed following an investigation by Lancashire Police's East Exploitation Team.
01:36 The OCG stole high-value cars and committed crimes across East Lancashire, including Hapton, Reed, Wally and Cone, and Greater Manchester,
01:44 and then either put false number plates on them and used them to commit further burglaries or stripped them down for parts.
01:50 The gang stole cars, jewellery and handbags worth hundreds of hundreds of pounds.
01:56 In Wigan, an investigation has been launched after a man suffered life-changing injuries when he was struck by a train.
02:02 A source told Wigan Today that the unnamed victim lost his foot in the horrifying collision close to Appleby Bridge Station shortly before 9.30pm on the evening of Saturday 9 September.
02:13 They added, "Just after Appleby Bridge, the driver saw two men on the tracks, sounded his horn and struck one. The other ran off.
02:20 They managed to get one out from underneath the train, but he had no ankle. He was taken to hospital, still alive apparently. They couldn't find the other male."
02:29 Now for the weather. Across Lancashire, it's going to be warm throughout the day with highs of 18 Celsius.
02:35 However, from 4pm onwards, it will be raining constantly.
