00:00 Each year generally we have focus day where our apprentices come to the workshop and we
00:10 do a framing, a focus on framing or a focus on flooring.
00:14 So generally we would pull whatever we build apart.
00:18 It was last Christmas I built my granddaughter one of these in the workshop and I kind of
00:22 thought what a great concept to have the boys build something they could actually donate
00:28 and that's how it came about.
00:29 It kind of evolved from there.
00:31 Our apprentices from first years through to fourth years are involved with it.
00:35 So the first years do the planning process, they do the quoting and then the third years
00:40 actually do the building and the fourth years are doing the delivery.
00:43 And they've kindly donated it to us as a local not for profit which the children are going
00:48 to really love.
00:49 So they're actually going to be in here later today after 3pm so they're going to turn up
00:53 and see this brand new cubby house.
00:54 It's brilliant to have it end to end something in the local community so that it's local
00:59 traineeships, local apprentices and then local children that get to appreciate it.
01:04 I've always just loved helping out people whether it be the younger apprentices working
01:10 under myself, younger kids.
01:12 It means a lot to be able to donate something to some people that are going to make great
01:20 use out of it.
01:22 The build, good fun over an apprentice day so I got the third and fourth year apprentices
01:27 together over two days.
01:30 So I put it together and it's just great to show hard work pay off.
01:34 Like the end of a big job, I've been lucky enough to work on some great jobs for my apprenticeship
01:38 but even something, some may say it's small but it's a big deal in regards to just helping
01:45 out the community and stuff like that.
