00:00 - What was going on right when you guys were building that 20 point lead?
00:03 What were you guys doing off the end of that on defense?
00:05 - We were just playing with pace and playing good defense.
00:09 - How did you feel when Sean Holmes played?
00:11 - Amazing. I owe him a dinner for all those claps he did.
00:17 - What happened to your team in the fourth quarter and how frantic did it get when they came back from 20 minutes?
00:23 - I mean, the Lakers are a great team, you know.
00:25 They have great players, so they're able to do this.
00:30 We were down two there, so everybody kept together and then we'll win the game.
00:36 - On the go ahead three by Kyrie, were you surprised that you were on a double team?
00:43 - Sorry?
00:43 - Were you surprised that they doubled you when you drove in and then you passed out to Kyrie?
00:49 - I mean, sometimes they double me, sometimes no.
00:51 So, I mean, the first half, almost when we were in the final five,
00:55 I mean, they double me all the time.
00:56 So, then they stop.
00:58 So, it's just breathing the game.
01:01 - I guess maybe it was somebody in that situation to leave Kyrie.
01:05 - I mean, yeah.
01:05 I mean, I didn't know he was going to be open, so I was really surprised.
01:10 - Luca, very few people know how difficult it is to make a piqued pass.
01:15 And today you made a piqued pass and it was with a pipe, including LeBron James.
01:20 How did you develop that ability?
01:22 - Yes, the truth is I don't know.
01:24 I think it was a very difficult pass, especially when there was a lot of distance.
01:28 So, I don't know, the truth is, but I think it was a very nice pass.
01:33 - I heard LeBron James' name in there.
01:36 He's got a history of breaking people's hearts.
01:38 When he gets the ball there at the end, he had a great fourth quarter.
01:42 He has a chance to tie it.
01:43 What are you thinking?
01:44 You had a good look at what he was doing there on that last shot.
01:48 - On the last in the corner?
01:49 - At the end of the game, to tie it, yeah.
01:51 - I mean, it was looking good, you know.
01:53 It was in the right direction.
01:54 So, I mean, I'm happy he didn't make it.
01:59 - What did you see on his pass, you know, into traffic?
02:02 You kind of read that play.
02:03 How does it feel to win a game with a defensive stop like that?
02:06 - I mean, yeah, it's big, you know.
02:08 I kind of didn't know if he was going to pass it or not.
02:11 It's big, so it was a good pass, but, you know, I just read it.
02:16 So, I'm glad we got a defensive stop there, right there.
02:21 - What kind of lift did Josh give you guys on the bench?
02:24 - A big lift, you know.
02:25 He was very energetic, hitting his shots, and it was a big lift for us.
02:30 - How good a win is this?
02:32 Lakers just won their, you know, in the season, their tournament,
02:35 and they're playing very well, and you come in here on the road,
02:38 and you beat them in dramatic fashion.
02:40 How good is that for your team?
02:42 - Yeah, it's a big game, you know.
02:43 We lost, what, two, three in a row.
02:46 So, it's a big win for us, you know.
02:48 I think we're playing very, very good defense for three quarters.
02:52 We relaxed a little bit in the fourth,
02:53 but for three quarters, we're playing great defense.
02:56 - I played in Slovenia for Hopsi Pozela with Samuel Ugric,
03:00 and just seeing your growth, you know,
03:03 how did your development start, you know, for you,
03:05 and when did the pace, you know, start coming in development for you?
03:08 I know you played with Real Madrid as well,
03:10 but was there anything in Slovenia when you first started playing
03:13 where you felt like your game started changing for you, too, as well?
03:17 - I don't remember, really. I was probably too young.
03:19 [laughter]
03:21 I left Slovenia when I was 12,
03:22 so I don't really remember much of those games.
03:26 - How great for you tonight to, you know, rely on Kyrie
03:29 to make the big shot, you know, after a bad fourth quarter.
03:33 You go to him, and he comes up big when your team needed it.
03:36 - Yeah, we can always rely on Ky, you know.
03:38 He's one of the best basketball players,
03:40 so we can always rely on him no matter what.
03:43 - They go on the big run. You get that challenge call.
03:45 They overturn. I mean, it was kind of a frenetic situation.
03:48 Do you win this type of game on the road against a good team last year?
03:52 Have you guys kind of changed in those moments,
03:54 those clutch moments this year?
03:55 - I mean, yeah.
03:57 I honestly don't think the challenge should be successful.
04:00 They say there was contact,
04:02 but I don't know how it's been out of foul.
04:06 But, you know, we just-- the win is a win,
04:09 especially on the road against Lakers.
04:12 It's a tough win.
04:14 And I just say a win is a win.
04:16 - But are you guys better together in those moments, do you think?
04:18 The late moments?
04:19 - Yeah, of course.
04:20 I mean, I think we proved it.
04:21 You know, we just-- I think we honestly played, like I said, great defense today.
04:25 So that got us a win.
04:28 - A win is a win, but the way the fourth quarter went,
04:32 are you a little bothered by that?
04:34 Even though you won the game, you know,
04:36 maybe uncharacteristic to blow that big--
04:38 - I'm good. Win is a win, man.
