00:00 John, who do you got and why in the Lions Thanksgiving matchup with Jordan
00:04 Love and the Green Bay Packers? Yeah, Vito, real interesting. Another
00:07 divisional matchup. The Detroit Lions have had success playing against their
00:11 division rivals over the last few months. And you look at it and you say
00:15 this is a Lions football team that really wants to bounce back after a not
00:18 great performance against the Bears. While it was a victory, it was very
00:22 sloppy. Lots of turnovers for in fact, the Lions had to overcome play that
00:27 was obviously not indicative of what they wanted to accomplish. But they
00:30 still with less than five minutes left, they were able to score 17 unanswered
00:34 points to get the victory. And you look at this football team, Vito, you look
00:38 at the matchups and I think the Lions are by far a lot more talented on both
00:42 sides of the football. You have probably an injury that's significant
00:46 for the Packers and Aaron Jones that obviously indicating that they're going
00:49 to rely on A. J. Dillon in the run game. And I just think in these contests,
00:54 when you look at the quarterback matchup, Jared Goff is a lot better
00:58 quarterback than Jordan Love. And I think that Jared Goff is going to want
01:01 to come back and perform at a much higher level coming off of three
01:05 interception game in which he was frustrated. One of the interceptions in
01:09 which Sam Laporta ran into a Bears defender was not his fault, but he also
01:13 had two tosses that he definitely wants to have back not seeing a Bears
01:17 defender there in the middle of the football field. So you look at it and
01:19 you see that it's Thanksgiving in front of a prime time audience.
01:24 Everybody's gonna be watching 12 30 on Thursday. The eyes of the NFL world
01:29 are gonna be on this prime matchup in the NFC North. I think the lines want
01:34 to put on a show. I think they want the to showcase why they've gained this
01:40 respect over the last year. And you look at it. The Lions have not won on
01:44 Thanksgiving since 2016. I think Dan Campbell and that roster want to turn
01:49 that around on their way to battle for the number one seat in the NFC. I think
01:54 that they definitely focus in on these division games. They understand that
01:58 they've been victorious over the Bears and Packers here in the past few
02:01 contests, and they want to keep the success going. I think that when you
02:04 look at the Lions, there are so many weapons offensively, the Packers have
02:09 to pick their poison. Do you try and stop the running attack that now
02:12 features Montgomery and Gibbs? Do you try and stop Jameson Williams and his
02:16 deep threat? Do you stop? I'm on Ross St Brown, who is an ultimate pro and
02:21 confined the open lanes easily. Do you try and stop Sam Laporta? And you look
02:26 at it and you say the Detroit Lions offensively really have the capability
02:30 to score a lot of points. And then for the lines on the other side of the
02:34 football, I think that the defense is clamoring for more opportunities to
02:38 sack the quarterback. And if they can find an avenue to get to Jordan Love
02:43 and force that extra, you know, offensive possession by getting
02:47 turnovers, you know, you have the likes of Kirby Joseph, Tracy Walker, Cam
02:51 Sutton as a leader. I think this lines football team is gonna want to
02:55 showcase what they're all about. And I'll say this, Aiden Hutchinson, he
02:59 said it. His sack numbers tend to come in bunches, and I think this week is a
03:04 prime example of a week where he can secure multiple sacks. It's gonna be a
03:08 frenzied environment at Ford Field, but one in which the Lions will end up
03:15 sending their fan base home happy to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with an easy
03:19 victory. John, I think the lines run all over the Packers on the way to a
03:23 victory Thursday at Ford Field. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for all the
