00:00 - All right, obviously a fun game on the road for our team.
00:03 Was good to see them, you know,
00:05 play a good game for four quarters
00:07 and really come out fast.
00:09 I'm certainly excited about what this week has in front of us
00:12 getting to play a great team in Oregon State.
00:14 Obviously they've done a really good job this season
00:17 and consistently do a really good job.
00:19 So I had a good practice today and ready to get back to work.
00:22 - Start your second row there.
00:25 - Looking back at the film and especially offensively,
00:27 were there things that stood out that weren't great
00:29 or was it as good as it looked like when watching it live?
00:31 - No, it all went really smooth.
00:32 I think we wanted to be a little more efficient
00:34 in the run game, but you know, beyond that,
00:37 we were able to hit some explosive passes early on
00:40 and to start, you know, your first six series
00:42 and go score all six, I think speaks volumes.
00:45 - All right, Zach.
00:47 - Short week this week on the holiday.
00:48 How does that change your preparation
00:50 and just your overall schedule?
00:52 - Yeah, you kind of lose your Monday that you typically have.
00:54 So today we had a Tuesday practice.
00:56 You know, your players are getting out there on the field
00:58 again a little bit quicker than they normally would do.
00:59 So we just kind of bump it up a day
01:02 and condensed a lot of stuff into a Sunday yesterday.
01:06 - Front left, James.
01:08 - Following on the run game,
01:10 can you evaluate Bucky's performance last week?
01:12 It was a little uncharacteristic in that he doesn't usually
01:14 get stopped for a loss three times,
01:16 just with his decision-making and play overall.
01:18 - Yeah, I wouldn't put that necessarily on Bucky.
01:21 I thought they did a good job
01:22 of doing some stuff with the front, you know,
01:25 and I know Bucky would certainly want to have some moments back,
01:27 but I thought he played well.
01:30 And there's just some things that we could have done better
01:32 to handle some of the movements and stuff that they did.
01:35 - Back right, Joe.
01:37 - You coached against EJ back in 2021.
01:40 What are some of the areas that he's grown the most in
01:42 over these past couple years since then?
01:44 - Yeah, I mean, he's a really confident player
01:46 right now on film.
01:48 Obviously, he had some, you know,
01:49 critical runs in their game on Saturday,
01:51 but he's had a lot of big ones this season.
01:52 I think, you know, his ability to run the ball
01:54 is really impressive, but has a big arm,
01:56 can really make -- has a strong arm.
01:57 He can throw the ball down the field
01:59 and is doing a really good job of running their offense.
02:02 I know there's a lot of checks
02:03 that the quarterback has to go through.
02:05 He's done a nice job of, you know,
02:06 incorporating those checks
02:07 and getting them into the right play.
