00:05 taken a significant step towards elevating sewer management in Baguio, a city in the Philippines,

00:10 through ADB's Water Organizations Partnership for Resilience program.

00:15 A memorandum of agreement was signed at IWK headquarters in the presence of the Natural

00:20 Resources, Environment, and Climate Change Ministry Secretary-General Ching-Thu Kim.

00:25 The MOA was signed by IWK CEO Narendran Maniam, ADB Director Strategy and Partnerships,

00:31 Water and Urban Development Sector Office Satoshi Ishii, and City Environment and Parks

00:37 Management Office Department Head Renan G. Diwas on behalf of Baguio Mayor Benjamin D. Magalong.

00:43 Narendran said IWK has been given the opportunity to share its expertise in enhancing sanitation

00:49 and water management standards and to further enrich the community in Baguio.

00:54 By merging resources, expertise, and dedication, IWK, ADB, and CGB aimed to transform the sewer

01:01 management landscape in Baguio and set a model for others to follow. At the event, IWK also

01:07 announced a contribution of more than R109,000 to the Palestine Humanitarian Trust Fund.

01:13 The contribution was made under the IWK CARES initiative through donations from the company

01:19 and also contributions from the employees.
